A very successful day today at Brahan with our inaugural clinic coached by Steff Singleton introducing Working Equitation to both many new and familiar faces. The day was very well supported by both riders and spectators (helped by tea and cake), and we have to thank all 2 and 4 legged participants for making this such a rewarding day for all. Many other exciting new equestrian experiences to come so keep a close eye on the page. For those who enjoyed the day and want to progress or if you missed today's excitement then not to panic future WE dates are to follow. Many thanks all, now to enjoy what's left of Mothers Day and dinner....yummy!

Hi all.....so our Working Equitation is on this Sunday with sessions starting 10am until 4.30pm with lots of new faces! Would be great to see as many of you as possible, come along to catch the excitement and grab a free tea/coffee. If anyone wants to bring some yummy home bakes it would help the day pass sweeter 🤣🤣 Look forward to seeing you all.

Have you always wanted to try Working Equitation but your horse is not fit? Interested in learning the skills involved in this exciting new sport but don't own a horse/pony yet? Well......... We are offering the chance to take part in our Working Equitation clinic on 30th March at Brahan on one of our riding school horses/ponies. The cost of this will be at the very low cost of £10 for horse hire, payment for the clinic is separate. Very busy and productive day here at Brahan rejuvenating the arenas. The outdoor has been rotovated to help with drainage and to loosen the compacted sand. The surface was then topped up with a few tons of rubber from the indoor arena. The next job is to fix some of the fencing and replace the gate.
Indoors a large amount of the surface has been removed in an attempt to stabilise the surface and make it suitable for jumping. The remaining surface has been spread out and the entire wall line has been dug out by hand (my arms are aching). Over the next few weeks with constant watering and harrowing I'm hoping the sand below will start to move and mix with the sand.
All of these improvements will help establish some new and exciting events at Brahan and we look forward to seeing you all.

Here at Hollingwells @ Brahan we are pleased to offer a fantastic days Working Equitation training with the fabulous Staff Singleton. WE is the fastest growing equine sport in the UK offering valuable skills for riders of all ages and levels. So if you've never tried this before or your wanting to further your training, then secure your places now. Look forward to seeing as many new faces as we can, always a warm welcome. Group sessions are 1 hour duration.

Hi all! Exciting news we have acquired Seaforth Riding Centre, Brahan and now bring you - Hollingwells @ Brahan.
A new and exciting venue in the Highlands.
We are still operating as a Livery yard, catering for both stabled and grass liveries with a revitalisation planned of both the grassland and the stabling to enhance this service.
Both the indoor and outdoor arena will undergo work to improve surfaces for all weathers and all disciplines to allow us to expand on the BD competitions previously run and add new and exciting events and training to the Highland equestrian calender.
We hope to bring you more exciting news as the months pass so keep an eye on this page for regular updates.
