Well that’s all the hay now stored in the shed for our livery clients and supplies of bedding are arriving in readiness for the winter.

First stage of the hose down complete. 🎉
The hay shed has been thoroughly cleaned from the very top of the shed to the bottom with the power hose. Once that bit was done the shed was also disinfected. It just needs a few days to dry out and then we will bring in the supplies for the winter. 🍂

Well today has seen the start of the annual hose down. As always it commences in the hay shed which has been cleared of any left over hay from last year. All the pallets of bedding have been removed and it’s received a thorough sweep and a good blast with the leaf blower to remove any dust and debris. We will have other go later today and will power hose and disinfect over the next couple of days in readiness for this winters supplies to come in.

What an incredible spell of weather. The cherry trees near the arena are almost in bloom. It’s got to be one of the best times of the year.
