So that's it, the holiday is over and we're back to work 🙃 Thank you to everyone for your patience with our slightly altered service over the last two weeks, we're back to business as usual this week. Well, almost..... as we've been away there hasn't been any production so we're going to be playing catch-up on stock. As always, we'll add stock to the website as soon as it is available but please add yourself to the waiting list for anything you need, it helps us to know which products we need to focus on. Very happy to say that we have our new supply of beef and so you should see all of our beef minces becoming available over the next week, finally!

We're on reduced manpower over the next two weeks as some of us take a bit of time to recharge and relax 😎 We may be a bit slower to answer your emails and messages during this time so please bear with us. Deliveries will be unaffected but we are only open for collections the following times during the weeks commencing 4th and 11th August:
Wednesday 2pm - 4pm
Thursday & Friday 10am - 12pm
We will be back to normal w/c 18th August.

We'll be getting a delivery of beef over this period which means that towards the end of the month we will be able to make our Beef & Chicken/Duck 80:10:10's and Minces generally available again which is great news! Getting the quality of beef we expect at a reasonable price has been tricky over the last few months but we've found a new supplier so onwards and upwards!

DELIVERY UPDATE FRIDAY 25th JULY

Due to staff holidays we will not be delivering on Friday 25th July and will bring those deliveries forward to Thursday 24th. Any orders received after Wednesday will be delivered w/c 28th July. Deliveries may be earlier/later than usual as we deviate from our normal routine.

We really do have some of the most gorgeous views when we're out delivering, especially when the sun is shining!

Another long weekend nearly at a close.....which means another short week coming up!

You may have noticed that we haven't had stock of our Beef 80:10:10's and minces over the last week or so. Our scheduled beef delivery arrived and was not up to our standards so we rejected it meaning we had to wait for a new order. In the meantime, the beef world has gone crazy and it has become really difficult to source a product of the quality we expect for a reasonable price (last quote was more than double what we usually pay!). We are working on it and are hoping to have some options in the next couple of days. In the meantime we have a small amount reserved so that we are able to fulfil our subscription orders and we will make the products available again as soon as we possibly can.

We seem to ask you to "bear with us" all of the time; running a small business is really hard work and the ups and downs are huge. We are eternally grateful to all of you who do "bear with us", you make it all worth it.

Something a bit different on Monday; we went to FoodEx at the NEC on a mission to source new packaging and machinery. There was so much to see, we really loved all of the automated machinery, especially the robotic stuff which really brought out in the inner geek! We’ve come away heads buzzing with plans and ideas and only got a little bit distracted with all the goodies at the adjoining Farm Shop & Deli Show!

We've reached the end of another busy week out and about and at Rawly HQ - wasn't it glorious to see some sun and feel some warmth....a hint of warmer days to come perhaps ☀️🤞🏻

A few stock updates, we realise it's been a bit hit and miss this week!
Beef - we're due a big beef delivery this week and as soon as this arrives we'll be full steam in production to increase our stock of all of our beef 80:10:10's and minces.

Lamb - we have had to find a new lamb supply and it's been a bit of a challenge to find something of the quality we demand at the right price point. We think we've got it now and we will be receiving delivery this week. As with the beef products, as soon as it is with us and we've approved the quality we'll be flat out rebuilding our stocks.

All being well, we're expecting that we will be back up to full stock of everything by the end of next week. As ever, thank you for your patience, it is always appreciated.

Our current stock will be updated tomorrow morning (Saturday 22nd).

We've had so many questions and messages about the change of packaging we thought we thought we ought to clarify. DEFRA ...

We've had so many questions and messages about the change of packaging we thought we thought we ought to clarify. DEFRA rules have always stated that we needed to use leakproof packaging; we've always maintained that our packaging is leakproof (aside from the debacle with the biodegradable boxes last year 🤦‍♀️) unless you tip it onto its side once it has defrosted. However, they are now trying to level the playing field for all raw dog food manufacturers and the overall decision is that the cardboard boxes are not leakproof and so to abide by the rules we are not allowed to use them going forward. We are therefore now in the process of looking for suitable new packaging that is sustainable and works for our product and for you.

We're in the early stages of research, we want to take the time to get it right so we'll stick with our brown boxes until we've found what we need. We're really keen for your input though - any suggestions? Anything you'd like us to avoid? We'll take it all into account and we promise we'll do our very best to find a solution that works for all us.

January doesn't normally bother me but I have to say, I was glad to see the back of it this year! What a month! What with the freezing temperatures at the start of the month causing issues with production, massive demand, chasing late deliveries and illness in our small team, it was a challenge to say the least! So whilst we are glad to welcome February in you will see from our stock that we're not quite back on top of it yet 😫 The Lamb Tripe, Venison and Beef 80:10:10's will be making their way back into stock over the next 24 hours or so and the Ox Tripe ones will be available from Wednesday. We're getting there, please bear with us! If you're waiting for something specific, please add yourself to the waiting list. This way, you'll get a notification as soon as we add stock, it also lets us know which products to prioritise.

Alongside all of the above, we are now also trying to source new packaging; during our routine DEFRA visit we were officially informed that we aren't able to continue using our lovely cardboard boxes. More to follow on this over the next couple of months...!
