Morning everyone
I am working today, however Rupert was rushed into the emergency vets late last night. He has been poisoned in the park at the bottom of our street. We walked him yesterday afternoon and he was eating something but I thought it was grass as none of my others went over. He then by 730 was having tremors Seizures, couldn't stand, Eyes were literally shaking and twitching, by the time we got him in the car he was confused and didn't know who we were, he was erratic, heart was pounding out of his chest.
The vets have said he's been poisoned with either w**d or Co***ne.
This is the 3rd dog to have been poisoned in there. I have just spoken with them and his tremors appear to have stopped and he's had a little walk. His kidney parameters are high so they will be rechecking them they have emphasised it is without a doubt poison.
Please pass on to your friends to let them know. I for one will never take my dogs in there again.
Please do not let your dogs off lead in there Rupert is not completely out of the woods however if we hadnt got him there so quickly the story would have been completely different.once I get the call I'll have to rearrange everyone . Ill know more once they have handover amd have a plan for him xx
Edit the poison was actually mushroom fungus that has poisoned him. Which are growing in the park. But is also conveniently currently been cut away by the grass cutter. I have reported this and the human toilet that taxi drivers are using it as to environmental health and parks at the council
