We now have the availability to take on new work placements / work experiences and / or apprentices.

Roles Available:
• Saturdays
• During the week - Perfect for work experience and work placement (specific day(s)can be discussed)

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and loves to be around horses.
Please note you have to be aged 14 and above.

The hours available are 8am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch.
For the right person extra hours would be available to cover holidays.

We are a small yard so duties would be mucking out, poo picking, grooming and general yard duties.
Experience is required however, training would be provided to ensure our standards and processes are met to the fullest.

You will be working with another member of the team throughout the day.
Once trained to our standard, solo work on some occasions may be available.
We are looking for someone who has their own initiative and time management whilst working with someone else or individually.

🎉 Clover has now found a new loaner, thank you all for your interest 🎉

Fantastic opportunity of sharing a beautiful pure bred Connemara

One of our much loved livery clients is wanting to share her Connemara mare. Clover is 14.2 and has a wonderful temperament. She is well behaved and will hack out alone and in company. She also enjoys jumping in the arena.
Clover is on full livery here at Horstead Farm where she will remain.

We would like applications from people who are interested in a 2/3/4 day a week share and who would be willing to have lessons on her at least until we are confident that rider and horse are a suitable match. They must be kind, reliable and willing to pay towards her livery - the amount would depend on how many days required.

🐴 Help and advice on purchasing the correct horse/pony for any individual for any discipline or simply the right happy hacker
🐴 Staff available to exercise and school your horses as much or as little as you require
🐴 Clipping, trimming, pulling manes and tails to a county/HOYS level standard

🐴 Wash box with hot horse shower
🐴 Located in a small village surrounded by miles of bridleways, woodlands and quiet lanes
