These lovely brothers Buzz and Woody visited me this week for a pamper and teeth brushing.

As first session results go, these are fantastic! The ultrasonic vibrations really help to break down and loosen the build-up on the teeth! Each pet will have different results and many require multiple sessions to get to this stage.

Please don't hesitate to reach out and ask for more information. This can be done as a stand-alone appointment or added to a grooming spa visit!

Give em the old razzle dazzle with whitening or brightening shampoo, purifying charcoal scrub, marshmallow facial and choice of perfume spray! Only £5 upgrade to any bath or full groom!

Do you have a young puppy? If so, this post is for you!

Introducing puppies to the grooming process from a young age is beneficial for many reasons:
-get used to being handled by new people and time away from puppy parent
-builds positive associations
-introduction to the noise in a controlled way
-cleanliness

So, how do I do this differently here at L Wills Pet Spa?
I take time to get to know your puppy, give them cuddles, fuss, and play to create a positive association with not only me but the environment. I introduce the noises gradually and use a 'grooming snood' to help protect those sensitive ears. Constantly reading your puppies' reaction to see if they are comfortable, offer reassurance, and take a step back if needed. Absolutely NO BLASTING! Only a stand dryer is used if tolerated.

I absolutely love grooming double coated breeds, and I get great satisfaction out of helping lift all of the shedding undercoat, leaving behind a beautifully soft and shiny top coat/guard hair.
Now is a great time to help remove your dogs undercoat to help keep them cool! Throughout the grooming process, I use a deshedding mud mask to help nourish the coat, a conditioning shampoo, and also an undercoat blowout and conditioning spray.
