🚨 Bluetongue Virus BTV-3 detected in Ireland

BTV-3 was detected in an in-calf heifer from Wexford following a post-mortem examination last week.

Findings included suspected vasculitis, petechial haemorrhage, and severe lung congestion and oedema.

The heifer was unvaccinated against Bluetongue.
