🌿🐾 Spirit within the soil 🐾🌿

"Animals don’t shout, they whisper truth, a story within their tracks, soul in their eyes and a ancient presence in their silence"

The question isn’t what they’re saying, it’s whether we’ve learned to listen.

What was once a living trail of connection is fading into memory.

“Every footprint holds meaning—whether carved by rhino, dog paws or boots. Each one speaks of presence, purpose, and the quiet hope to be remembered to feel safe on our path ahead. In the soil of this world, all our prints matter.”

🌿🐾 Every Step Is a Story. Every Footprint, a Choice. 🐾🌿

As we head into the weekend let's walk with purpose every footprint leaves a mark...

From walking through the Olifants River that soaked my boots with it's ancient flow. A lifeline for wildlife, but a place of where footprints can leave devastation or ones that saves lives.

To dust that remembers.

They’ve followed wild dogs to standing still in the presence of elephants.
Pressed into the earth beside dogs who don’t just walk—they read the world.

I’ve spent my life walking with dogs.
Not just beside them, but listening.
Their behavior is a language—subtle, honest, wise.
A flick of the ear. A pause in breath. A shift in energy.
They show us what’s safe, what’s sacred, and what needs space.

The ground holding the weight of memory.

Slowing down and walking with purpose and presence.

Because nature doesn’t rush.
It doesn’t perform.
It just is.
And when we move with awareness, we start to feel what’s real.

You may just think they are just boots.....

But the wild feels our energy.
The dogs beside us absorb our silence, our stress, our joy.
The animals watching from the bushes respond to our spirit not our strength, but our presence.

These boots don’t just walk.
They carry stories.
They carry weight.
They carry me.
But they leave a mark

So I walked slowly.
For the dogs beside me.
For the river that remembers.
For the wild that watches.
For the version of me that’s still healing, learning and growing from the lessons around me.

Let’s walk with intention.
Let’s listen to the quiet.
Let’s leave only leave footprints and make memories

Where in nature will you leave your footprints this weekend? How can you walk more in purpose and presence? What lessons have you learnt?

On our break away 🙏🐾💚

🌿🐾 The Edge We Choose 🐾🌿

We can walk the cliffs not to escape the world—but to remember our place in it.

My dog moves ahead full of instinct, nose to the wind, paws steady on the uneven path. She doesn’t question the edge—she reads it. The way the birds circle above, the way the sea carves the rocks below. She knows the wild doesn’t apologize for its power. It just is.

There’s a weathered seat at the cliff’s edge, carved by time and solitude. Sitting there, not to rest—but to listen. To the silence between waves. To the pulse of something ancient. To the truth that living on the edge and being completely real and unapologetically yourself isn’t reckless—it’s important

Dogs teach us that loyalty isn’t about staying safe—it’s about showing up, even when the wind howls. Wildlife reminds us that survival isn’t sterile—it’s sacred. And the edge? It’s not where things end. It’s where we begin again.

So we walk. Not to tame the wild, but to walk beside it. To honor the cliff, the dog, the seat, and the soul that dares to sit there.

🌿 🐾The Wild Doesn’t Rush. And It Doesn’t Stay Clean 🐾🌿

This morning I walked barefoot.
Not for beauty.
But for truth.

'Alongside' a loyal friend with mud on their paws, joy in their stride.
No shame. No hesitation.
Just instinct. Just presence.

They didn’t flinch at thorns.
Don't avoid the mess.
They meet the earth with open hearts and unguarded steps.
Every pawprint a prayer. Every breath a blessing.

I followed.

Feeling the earth between my feet.

I remembered—this is the walk that heals.
Not the polished one.
Not the one with perfect gear, painted faces, or distractions.
But the raw one.
The sacred one.
The one where you feel everything.

We weren’t born to be edited.
We weren’t made to wear masks.
Our skin was meant to feel the wind.
Our feet were meant to touch the soil.
Our souls were meant to be seen—naked, natural, whole.

Animals don’t rush.
They don’t pretend.
They move with spirit, with knowing, with truth.
They carry their scars like sacred marks.
They wear the earth like home.

Wild animals don’t shy away from the dirt—they wear it like a badge of honor.

Elephants coat themselves in thick layers of mud, not just to cool off but to protect their skin from the sun and biting insects, turning the earth into a natural shield.

Lions lounge in dusty savannas, their fur matted with soil and scars that speak of battles fought and territories defended.

Warthogs wallow in muddy pools, using the grime to soothe their skin and mask their scent from predators.

Rhinos revel in mud baths, their cracked hides caked with earth that helps regulate their body temperature.

🌿 In the wild, dirt isn’t something to wash off—it’s a part of life, a tool for survival, and a symbol of strength.

So today, if you’re craving something real—
Watch the dogs.
Watch the wild ones.
Watch the ones who never forgot how to belong.

Lose the shoes.
Wipe off the mask.
Let the dirt mark you.
Let your walk become a remembering.

You are allowed to walk this earth as you truly are
Unfiltered, unpainted, and deeply connected.

I invite you to join me and even share your experiences in the comments below 🐾🌿

Quote for the new week beginning 🙏

🌿🐾 Sit with animals quietly, and they will show you their hearts. Sit with them kindly, and they will help you locate yours 🐾🌿

In quiet moments, animals show us who they are—and who we are, too.
When we approach them with calm, respect, and patience, we build trust.
That trust opens the door to a deeper connection—one that helps us understand their needs more clearly, and reflect on our own.

By observing their instincts and emotions, we learn to navigate our own with more awareness.
And through that connection, we’re better equipped to support their wellbeing—and ours

🌿🦁 World Lion Day & Sunday Reflection 🌿

Today, we honour the lion—not just as a majestic creature of the wild, but as a mirror to our own inner strength.

The lion teaches us:
- To walk with quiet confidence
- To protect what matters, fiercely and without apology.
- to walk our paths with purpose, courage and strength
- To rest deeply, knowing that power doesn’t always roar—it sometimes listens.

On this Sunday, I reflect on the pure rawness of my experience I was privileged to be a part of and how it takes courage to live with heart, connect deeply and to survive.
To lead with love.
To rise again, even when the world feels heavy.

Whether you're curled up with your dog, walking through the woods, trekking the outback, or simply breathing in the stillness—remember:

You carry the lion within.
And the wild is always whispering your name.

Let’s protect them. Let’s protect us.
Because healing the wild is healing ourselves.

🌿 Feel the Earth Like a Dog Does—Like the Wild Ones Do 🐾

While we rush through life chasing goals and ticking boxes, dogs and wild animals remind us of something far more profound: the art of being here. Not in yesterday’s regrets or tomorrow’s worries—but in the now.

They don’t just walk the earth—they listen to it!

Paws, hooves, claws—each step is intentional, attuned, sacred.

Elephants move with quiet strength, feeling vibrations through the soles of their feet.

A Deer treads with reverence, sensing the pulse of the forest.

Wolves follow ancient trails, guided by instinct and memory.

What if we did the same?

🐾 Take off your shoes

🐾 Let your feet sink into the grass, the mud, the sand.

🐾 Breathe in the wildness.

🐾 Let your body remember what it means to belong.

Animals don’t need mindfulness apps—they are mindfulness in motion.
They teach us that presence isn’t a practice—it’s a birthright.

So today, walk like a dog.
Move like an elephant.
Stand like a deer.
Feel the ground beneath you and let the earth remind you:

You are held. You are alive. We are all connected and this is so important to understand.

Evening Everyone 💚

Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to all my past customers/friends and their dogs. For not only letting me help you on your dog owning journey building great bonds, but for trusting me and bringing me into your life and your dogs life.

The last 10 years have been such an amazing and special journey for me and my heart cannot tell you all enough how grateful I am and how much you have all meant to me. I have never been able to keep in contact with everyone that I have worked with because there have been so many of you which has been amazing.

I can truly say that not a day goes by that I am not thankful and cherish the memories I have shared with you all.

You all hold a very special place in my heart because without you all I would not be the person and have become the trainer I am today. I have grown and learnt so much not just about dogs and relationships with you the owners but myself and my own dog owning journey.

I have had such an amazing adventure and am truly blessed that I got to be part of it all. From the tears, sadness, loss to the happiness, joy, breakthroughs and funny and hilarious moments I have been through with you all.

From the day I started I knew that we all get callings in our lives whether you believe in this sort of thing or not but for me I did.

I truly believe everything happens for a reason like my own dogs entering my life and everything I have shared with them and what they have taught me. A connection that can never be explained but my soul mates and my best friends.

As you all know that I have been through my fair share of ups and downs and I know that they have led me to a place where I am now at a turning point in my life.

So it is with great heartfelt sadness but also excitement for the future that I will no longer be running my training business from now. Who knows what the future holds but at this present time I am on a new adventure and stepping outside my comfort zone and spreading my wings.

I can tell you that what I will be embracing will still hopefully be helpful to you all or be of interest so keep an eye out as I will post about it here in the coming weeks when its up and running. I hope you will support and follow me and my new adventure.

For this part of my journey for now, the dog training world for me will be in my heart and in my memories.

I really can't explain what a big decision this was for me and I can never ever share the emotions I have had and how much you have all meant to me.

Thank you for all your love, support, trust, generosity, kindness and just letting me be part of your lives. Truly truly thankful.

All my love for the future to you all and its not goodbye but hello to the future and embracing what is to come. Don't be strangers, go and be amazing! I hope that your dog owning journeys are as wonderful as mine has been and you get to share those amazing moments with your best friends 💚

Take care and big hugs to all your gorgeous doggies
