💙 Dogs & Divergent Minds Day is here 💙

Today is all about raising awareness of neurodivergence within the dog world and encouraging more understanding, inclusivity and emotional safety for neurodivergent dog handlers, trainers and professionals.

The dog world is full of passionate, dedicated people.

But for many neurodivergent people, dog training classes, agility environments, workshops, competitions and social dog spaces can also feel overwhelming, emotionally exhausting or difficult to navigate.

So many people are masking, overthinking, struggling with sensory overwhelm, navigating rejection sensitivity or carrying anxiety while still trying to do the very best for their dogs.

And often, those experiences remain invisible.

Dogs & Divergent Minds Day exists to start conversations, encourage understanding and help more people feel seen, safe and supported.

✨️Because all dogs and all minds are different.✨️

Dogs & Divergent Minds Day is returning on 1st June 💙

I’ve been quietly rebuilding this awareness campaign over the past few weeks because it’s something that sits very close to my heart.

The dog world is full of passionate, committed and deeply caring people.

But for many neurodivergent dog handlers, trainers and professionals, those same spaces can also feel overwhelming, emotionally intense or difficult to navigate at times.

So many people are masking, overthinking, dealing with sensory overwhelm, navigating rejection sensitivity, or carrying anxiety while still trying to show up and do their very best with their dogs.

And often, those experiences stay invisible.

✨️Dogs & Divergent Minds Day exists to start a different kind of conversation.✨️

One that brings more understanding into the dog world.

One that makes space for different ways of experiencing training, competition, learning and connection with dogs.

Because all dogs and all minds are different!

This isn’t about changing the dog world overnight.

It’s about making it a little easier for people to feel seen within it.

💙 If this resonates with you, feel free to share it or simply help spread awareness in your own space

💙 And if you’ve ever felt this way yourself, you’re not alone

🫂 If the dog world has been feeling heavy lately, you are not the only one.

Inside the NIDPN membership this month we’re focusing on the things that often sit underneath dog training, handling and professional life but rarely get talked about openly.

Things like communication, perfectionism, overwhelm, burnout, pressure and what it actually takes to stay grounded in all of it.

This month inside the membership:

📅 Community Zoom
Communication in the dog world: what are we getting right and what are we getting wrong?

💻 Rise Up Webinar
The Pressure to Get It Right: Perfectionism in the Dog World

🤝 NEW Accountability & Body Doubling Sessions
Relaxed co-working sessions to help you start tasks, stay focused and get things done alongside others.

📚 A growing library of webinars, PDFs and resources to aid you, your business and yohr clients!

NIDPN is a neuro-inclusive membership for:
🐾 Neurodivergent dog people
🐾 Agility handlers
🐾 Dog professionals
🐾 Dog business owners
🐾 And those who want to create more inclusive spaces for neurodivergent clients!

Because dog training is NEVER just about dogs.

It’s about people, nervous systems, communication, expectations and everything happening underneath the surface.

If that resonates, you can find the membership link in my bio ✨

🌟 April Rise Up Webinar 🌟

When It All Feels Too Much: Navigating Overwhelm in the Dog World

📅 Date: Wednesday 15th April 2026
⏰ Time: 7:30pm
💷 Cost: £25 (includes webinar access, replay, and certificate of attendance)

Feeling like there’s too much to juggle with your dog, your training, or your work? You’re not alone. This webinar explores how overwhelm shows up, why it happens, and practical ways to work with your capacity rather than against it.

In this session, we’ll be exploring:

- What overwhelm really is and why it’s not just “doing too much”
- How it shows up in dog training, agility, and everyday life
- The cycle of pushing through, burning out, and starting again
- Simple ways to reduce pressure and move forward

✋️✋️✋️Don’t forget:
This webinar is included as part of your NIDPN membership ⚠️⚠️⚠️

We still have a few founder member places at £9/month, giving you full access to all Rise Up webinars, replays, additional resources, and support — saving you A LOT if you plan to attend multiple sessions!

✨️This is also the first session in a six-part series:

💙The Hidden Struggles of Neurodivergent Life in the Dog World💙

- April – Overwhelm in the dog world
- May – The pressure to get it right (perfectionism)
- June – When your dog feels overwhelming (reactivity, anxiety, overexcitement)
- July – Shut down, meltdown, or push through (nervous system)
- August – The invisible load of being a “good” dog guardian or professional
- September – Redefining success in the dog world

If you’re serious about creating a more neuroinclusive dog world, the membership is the best way to access the full series.

😢 I got to the point where I couldn’t ignore it anymore....

The dog world needs to change‼️

And instead of waiting for someone else to do it… I decided to build something myself 💪...

Over the last few days, you may have seen something new being shared across my socials.

🩷 People tagging me
🥹 People joining
🥰 People talking about why this matters to them!

That “something” is....

✨️ The Neuro-Inclusive Dog Professional Network (NIDPN) 💙✨️

Before you read that and think “that’s not for me”…

This is for YOU if you are part of the dog world in any way...

Maybe you are a...

- Dog professional
- Agility handler or competitor
- A committed dog guardian who just wants to understand more and do better.

You also do NOT have to be neurodivergent.

🧠 If you want to better support neurodivergent clients, understand behaviour on a deeper level, and create a more inclusive space, you belong here.

This is a low-cost, accessible membership is designed to help you to:

• Understand more
• Make meaningful changes
• Create better outcomes for dogs and people

🤯 Inside, the membership:

• Access to my Monthly Rise Up webinars (with replays and certificates) - non member price £25 per webinar.
• A growing webinar library on a vast range of topics.
• Monthly community Zoom sessions
• Guided co-working sessions for accountability
• Practical neuro-inclusive resources to download and use for yourself / your clients.
• Full access to my Agility Success Vault (worth £97)

✋️✋️But the most important part is this…

This is not just content.

🗣 This is a space where your voice matters.

Where we talk about what is actually happening in the dog world...

What is not working...

And what needs to change!

💪 And then we actually DO something about it.

🤯🤯🤯 The first 30 members can join for just £9 a month.

Over a third of those places have already gone! Once they’re gone, they’re gone, and the price will increase as this grows.

🩷 If this feels like something you want to be part of, whether for yourself, or the people you support…

I would love to have you inside.

I’ll pop the details in the comments.

Let’s start creating real change 💙

🎙✨️To wrap up Series 2 of the Neuro Inclusive Dog Pod, I’m joined by Dawn Melbourne from and to talk about something that so many dog professionals struggle with…

👉 Making connections in your dog business without the overwhelm.

Because networking, visibility, and “putting yourself out there” can feel like a lot. Especially if you’re neurodivergent.

We also touch upon:
- Running a dog business vs the reality of running it.
- Overwhelm, admin, and “doing all the things”
- The unseen workload behind the scenes
- Support, delegation, and asking for help
- Building something sustainable (not just surviving)
- Neurodivergent-friendly ways of working

Links are in today's stories, my highlights and in Link in bio! Enjoy!
