🐾 May is Veterinary Nurse awareness month so we want to take this opportunity to welcome two new faces to the Nursing team.
🐾 1st up we have Harriet who you may recognise from the admin team, Harriet has worked with us for a few years but has recently transitioned in to the nursing team, and is now a Student Veterinary Nurse.Harriet loves adventuring with her Dandie Dinmont’s and running with her border collie Nev aka ‘Neville Fastbottom!’

⚠️ Amber Weather Warning ⚠️
Heat stroke risk is high this weekend, with temperatures predicted to exceed 30°C.
Please remember to walk your dogs during the cooler parts of the day, such as early morning or late evening.
If you notice your pet becoming too hot:
• Use cool water to help lower their temperature
• Do NOT cover them with wet towels, as this can trap heat
• Make sure they always have access to plenty of fresh water
If you are concerned your pet may be suffering from heat stroke, please contact your vet immediately.

Meet Stan 🐶

Stan came to us a few weeks ago for a lump removal surgery! 🐶
Stan was not our biggest fan, and was quite nervous about entering the practice! 💜

Stan was such a good boy, even if he enjoyed side eyeing us at every moment he could! Stan was so brave that our Student Veterinary Nurse, Lois, awarded him the certificate of bravery 🥇! Well done Stan 💜

After a long and hard recovery, we have now removed Stans surgical sutures, so he can now get back into his normal routine. ❤️‍🩹
He is now so fond of us, he did not want to leave the car park after his final post op check! 💜

Did you know at Prime we have one apprentice Lois, but we have also supported both Shannon and Lara through their apprenticeships.
And we are committing to supporting more apprentices in the future. 💜

Boxing Day -Closed
Saturday 27th- open as normal
New Years Eve- 8.30-15.00
New Years Day- Closed
Friday 2nd of January 8.30-19.00 as normal

Our Staff are on call for all of our client’s emergencies over the feative period.
