Lotsa Paws We offer a professional 1:1 pet groom in our fully insured salon, specified in all breed grooms. I am now currently going into my fourth year of business.

A little introduction of me, my name is Lottie, I am the founder and owner of Lotsa Paws in early 2020. I am a level 3 qualified dog groomer and first aider. I trained with Just4Paws School of Dog Grooming & Professional Salon, who alone won grooming school of the year. I am a lover of animals, I have a few dogs myself, which you'll meet if ever visiting Lotsa Paws. My passion and love for dogs ha

ve stemmed from a young age. The welfare, contentment, happiness and the well-being of all the animals visiting is our main priority here, which is why we accommodate and meet the needs to each individual dog. The contact details are always available, either by phone, text, messenger or email, if no one is reachable immediately someone will get back to you within a reasonable time. We would always recommend booking in advance to avoid any disappointment.

Thank you so much to you all for all the visits, keeping me extremely busy and trusting me with your pooches 🐶 another year of success and lots of love and I’m here for it 🙏🏼

Thanks so much for spoiling me every single day with all the lovely cards, festive wishes, gifts, money and tips. I really do have the best dog owners 🥹 (I also have got to take up drinking during this festive period atleast because, I’ve got a brewery in my house now) 🍾🤣. But on a serious note THANK YOU 💛

My favourite time of the year 🎅 ❄️

This being said; this is also one of the busiest times too, so thought I’d pop on here at the start of the month just with a couple of things. 🥰

Mainly to say… my diary is fully booked for the whole of December 🙊🙈 this is any and every app/slot or possible space filled 😭 as amazing and grateful as I am, it’s still hard for me not to be able to accommodate for those last minute apps. (With me being one of those last minuters too.)
I do always recommend booking well in advance, to avoid and disappointment. So again, just that reminder. 🥰

With how booked up I am, I am asking if for any reason any appointments that need to be cancelled or rescheduled, please let me know with as much notice as possible, this will enable me to work through my cancellation list and fill this appointment and it will also avoid the full payment within 24 hour cancellation policy too, as no further appointments would be able to be booked until this is complete. 💛

Also please more so during my most busiest times, with me giving time slots or estimate time slots for collection of your pooch, please try keep an eye out for my message so you can try to be on time collecting, only due to some dogs being more anxious around other dogs, so the cross over can become slightly more challenging. (This only tends to happen if I have a finished groom for much longer than collection time).

Thank you for keeping me busy and supporting my livelihood. I love every bit of it 🥹

Within the past week and a half we have had the saddest of news of 3 pooches crossing the rainbow bridge.
Tibbs, Bailey and Scooby 💛 💔
This is always the saddest part of my “job” to receive any news and message like this.
My love goes out to their owners, who these pooches were really their everything! 💛

Hi lovelies,

Firstly, I hope you all had a lovely Christmas 🎄🎄🎅 and are looking forward to the new year 2025 🙏🏼 💫

Just popping on with a little update to let you all know that, from the 1st January there will be a slight price increase, this is the first one since Jan 2023.

Just to give you the heads up ⬆️ it will not be a big price increase, I will this time round take into account of how long certain dogs (not based on breed) do take me to groom. These prices only stand for the regular advised time intervals. I.e 6-8 week time slots, anything beyond this time means I’ll have to book extra time slots so will be more than the usual price.

Also I am hoping to get into the habit of all my customers who do pay via bank, to pay before collection of their dog or on arrival once price has been confirmed.
This is going to then allow me to have extra time going forward, to do other things rather than cross referencing and chasing payments. 💴 🐶

Also this still applies; any cancellations within 24 hours will require FULL payment before I book another appointment, please understand it can be difficult to fill that slot with such short notice and this is time I could either be spending with my daughter, which is very precious or time I could be getting another dog booked in. (Which as you all know is also precious).
Please make the payment before contacting me for another appointment. 📅 Thank you ☺️

Also, please please please ensure the best you can that matting doesn’t occur, I don’t ever rarely charge extra for this, which I am going to start doing so.
If any matting does occur, then it can take me longer to work through your dog, also the damage it can have on tools, i.e:- blades blunting. Which is cost effective.
If you cannot get a comb through the coat then that tends to mean matting is occurring and my blades won’t necessarily go through it neither.
I absolutely dread trying to either get through them or end up losing a good style by clipping them out. It’s so uncomfortable for your dog and I want them to enjoy their visit more than anything else 💛 that’s my duty of care 💛🐶

Polite reminder 💛

Cancellation policy:
Any cancellations within 24 hours or no shows then; a full payment is required before I rebook another appointment.

This really does not happen often, however it has on occasion.

I do have high demands for appointments and for newbies, who I have turned down due to not having the availability which are desperate to join my books. So I have to now really be more strict with this policy.

Please understand if any appointments haven’t been attended to with no notice or any more than 24 hours, then before asking for another appointment payment will be expected.

I completely understand things happen that are out of our control and i appreciate that more than anyone, however this policy does still stand.

I have been that customer too and i always ensure even without any policies in place that payment is made because, that is someone’s business.
Some cannot fill in last minute slots unfortunately.

Not always the posts I like to pop on here, but I think it helps without sending out individual reminders of this.

Hey all 🥰

I know I am very quiet on here 🙊 but I am just popping on to say I am now on holiday, I am going to try my best to actually be on holiday this time so I can fully enjoy some time with my daughter. 💕
So all appointments after this evening will be being booked in from Saturday 6th July.

My diary is crazy on my return, as you can imagine, but I am doing my best to accommodate you all who would usually be scheduled in during my time off.

So sorry I’ve not checked in here for what seems forever, but I feel January has turned into the new December… and it’s just been busy busy busy. Also this looks as though this is for the foreseeable, which isn’t out the ordinary, but has just been more busier working my magic getting all of you in where I can, may I add I am forever grateful for my busy successful business 🙊❤️

I just wanted to say thank you to all my lovely people, for your patience, (especially during unexpected circumstances in December) worst time and I just hated letting you down during them couple of weeks, but we got through it and l am so grateful for all your patience.

Thank you to each one of you who recommend me on a daily basis, I see them and I hate saying “im currently not taking on newbies at present” because, it seems like I’ve been saying it for forever, but your recommendations don’t go unnoticed and again I’m eternally grateful to you all, but yes as that still stands I do not have the capacity for newbies right now. If you seen my diary you’d wonder how i get any time away from the salon 😂 again I count my blessings 🙏🏼

Anyway that went from what I thought would be a little hello post to an essay…so me 😂

But, I just thought to pop on brighten up my neglected page and to just send you all a thank you message.
