2025 income £9732

We didn’t manage to raise back our losses.
We didn’t make enough for our housing project.
But this isn’t the end.

Thank you to everyone who has helped care for these half wildies and the emergency intakes/strays we’ve had along the way. You helped save them too!

We finished the year the a bank account in minus numbers. But I’m determined that won’t happen this year.

These half wilds are just as worthy of a happy life as any other rabbit.

Sadly the vets had to cancel all 9 neuters last minute today due to staff illness. We hope they are feeling better soon.

We are waiting for a new date.

We still have around £800 left to raise to cover costs if anyone can help.

I’ve managed to make almost £200 on Vinted selling some of my own things.

We need less than 6% of our followers to donate just £1 to cover the rest of the neutering costs of 9 rabbits.

Why is neutering important?

•prevents breeding
•reduces the risk of cancer
•lowers hormone levels, meaning group relationships are more stable.
•rabbits can safely have conspecific companionship which is vital for their wellbeing and happiness.
•reduces stress
•means we can help more rabbits

People dump their one female domestic rabbit and think it's just one rabbit.

If that rabbit is lucky, they're caught and saved by a kind person.

But often wild male rabbits have already mated with that female domestic rabbit. And then a few weeks later, a whole litter of half wild rabbits are born. Now there is not just one rabbit to vaccine and neuter. But 8+.

The vet bill to save one rabbit just went from a few hundred pounds to a few thousand. AND now there are a litter of feral half wild rabbits no one wants to adopt.

We are a sanctuary JUST for these feral half wilds. And we STILL have a waiting list that grows every month.

Which means people are still dumping their domestic rabbits. Please don't dump your pets.
