Despite so much effort by many people. The pub auctions near us (DE21 Derby) are still continuing.

Last night, multiple sugar gliders were in the auction again.

We cannot pay hundreds of pounds to take gliders out of auction. The seller would just deem it a success and continue to breed and sell more.

So this is my best offer of help.

If you purchased a sugar glider at the pub last night. I am offering education, and any help you need to care for your gliders PROPERLY.

•Cages are not good. We recommend 6x3x2 foot vivarium very very minimum for a pair. Bigger is better. Especially if they’re young.
•They need to be in neutered pair at bare minimum.
•Lots of types of bedding and toys are not safe.
•Packaged food is not safe, please research the SGS2 diet.
•They need controlled temperatures and lighting.
•Please do not let children handle them, they are extremely fragile and have sharp teeth with Velcro gripping claws (can easily cause irritation to skin)

I can help you find an experienced vet and answer any questions. NO JUDGEMENT.

I don’t want to judge, I just want to help these gliders have a decent life.

**photo is one of our gliders so this post doesn’t get lost**

Perfectly rabbit.

Long nose, up ears, lean body. Perfect for preventing over heating.

Hot weather is just another reason why rabbits should look like rabbits and not flat faced bread loaves.

PLEASE put effort into creating secure tortoise housing/garden

I know they’re pro escape artists and excellent diggers but I have already seen over 10 lost and found tortoise posts today and I have only picked up my phone a few times💔

Totally understand mistakes and one offs happen but let’s get double checking your tortoise proofing!

Freshly picked mint, yummy!

Sadly the best photo I could get without disturbing them. But, a lovely nest of wildies having their afternoon nap 😴

DERBY PLUMMER

I need the help of a Plummer to quote having a water pipe installed to feed our garden office.

It will involve digging up a small strip of concrete path too (I think)

Please note this IS NOT for the sanctuary, but I’m hoping that asking on here will mean some honest people are suggested. After a nightmare being ripped off with poor landscaping a few years ago I’m insanely anxious to trust anyone else.

Do you have a long wheel base van and an hour to spare?

We have been gifted this amazing enclosure to extend our wildies housing.

Locations DE73 - DE21 (approx 18 mins drive)

It is already dismantled and ready for collection!

There are a few wooden batons too for the roof that are longer than 6 feet.

Happy to contribute some fuel money, anything that might save us £120 renting a van for such a short trip.

Thank you!

NOTTINGHAM

High fields notts campus.

is anyone available to help catch a stray rabbit please?

Unfortunately I cannot attend myself today.

Vets already have the rabbits friend so if caught the rabbit MUST go to the same vets.

The last strays we had from this area were positive for coccidiosis so please follow procedure and hand to the vets or us if easier.

Thank you.
