We wanted to let you know about some important changes to our business. 🗓️
After a lot of thought and spiralling costs, we’ve made the decision to permanently close our current day care premises from 31st July 2026. 🥹. This has not been an easy decision and we are devastated. While this marks the end of one chapter, we’re excited to begin a new one with a more personalised way of caring for your dogs. Please read the following information, if this doesn’t work for you then please give us a call as we are flexible and want to do the best for you and your dogs. You are all family to us.❤️
From 3rd August 2026 we will be offering:
🐾 Home-from-Home Day care (Monday - Friday) – A calm, loving family environment where your dog will receive plenty of individual attention, care and enrichment. To ensure every dog gets the best experience, spaces will be limited. As part of this service, we’ll collect your dog from your home/workplace between 7.00 am and 8.30 am and return them between 4:00 pm and 5:30pm. If you’re not at home, we’re happy to securely hold a set of your keys for added convenience. Every day care day will also include adventure walks on our secure private fields, giving your dog plenty of exercise, fun and enrichment in a safe environment. Similar to what we offer now in the centre but spread between our home and the fields.
🐾 Adventure Group Walks – (Monday - Friday) This isn’t a traditional one-hour dog walk it’s 2-3 hours. We’ll collect your dog from your home between 10.00 am and 11.30 am, and they’ll enjoy an exciting group adventure on our secure private fields, where they can run, play, socialise and explore in a safe environment. We’ll then return them home between 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm, making it the perfect option for dogs who would benefit from something similar to our previous half-day day care service.
🐾 Home Boarding – Our home boarding service will continue as normal, providing the same loving, home-from-home experience your dogs already know. During their stay, they’ll also enjoy our group adventure walks on our secure private fields, giving them plenty of exercise, enrichment and social time. Drop-offs and collections can take place either at our home in Burton upon Trent or at our secure field on Chellaston Lane, whichever is most convenient. This is something we can discuss before they come to stay.
🐾 Dog Grooming & Teeth Cleaning – Grooming will also be relocating to our home in Burton upon Trent, where we’ll continue to provide the same high standard of care and pampering your dogs are used to.
Pricing
• Adventure Group Walks (includes pick-up and drop-off in the price)
£20 – 1 dog
£30 – 2 dogs
• Home-from-home Day care (Includes pick-up and drop-off in the price)
£30 – 1 dog
£45 – 2 dogs
• Home Boarding
£35 per day – 1 dog
£47 per day – 2 dogs
How to Book
We are currently working on a booking system, however in the interim bookings will be made via Text or WhatsApp and invoices will be sent after each session. We are asking customers where possible to commit to the same days each week but if not then we can accommodate requests.
Please note: All collection and drop-off times are approximate and may vary depending on traffic, routes and the needs of the dogs in our care.
These changes will allow us to focus on providing a more personal, home-from-home experience while continuing to deliver the loving care you’ve come to expect from us.
We’d like to thank every one of you for your incredible support over the last 12 years. It’s been a privilege to care for your dogs, watch them grow, and become part of our extended family, so hopefully this isn’t a goodbye but appreciate our new services may not suit everybody.
Our current location will permanently close on 31st July, so until then its business as usual at the centre. Please only purchase block bookings if you are going to use them by the 31st. We are all very emotional so please excuse the tears. 😞
