As many of you know we started our journey back in 1999 delivering straight to your door on our Trusty van! 🚚

We’d love some feedback around whether you’d use our potentially new (and improved) delivery service! 🚛

We already offer free delivery nationwide with DPD/Royal Mail over £40 spend 📦, but we are planning a new more local delivery service on our Trusty van. We can deliver any of our 7500 products and this could include raw food products with a min spend of only £10 for the following areas:

Mickleover - daily deliveries
Mackworth - daily deliveries

Hi everyone, our lovely Grace and her boyfriend Jack will be hosting a cake sale at the Mickleover store on Saturday 5th July to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research. 🎂🍰🧁

Jack will be taking on the massive challenge of a full Ironman (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run) at the end of July to raise money for this incredible charity that is very close to both of our families heart! 🏃🚴🏊‍♂️

We would be very grateful if you could all come and support them! (gvc_bakes will be supplying some cakes)

🌟 We are recruiting for two retail assistants for our busy pet superstore in Derby. 🌟

🔴 Pet Shop Sales Assistant - Full Time, average 5 days (37.5 - 40 hours per week) and is a permanent position. Weekend rota. From £12.21ph.

🔵 Pet Shop Sales Assistant - Part Time (16-30 hours) and is a permanent position. This role includes working both Saturday and Sunday with at least 2 days off in the week. Minimum age 18. From £12.21ph.

⏰ Hours for the roles will be between Monday - Saturday 8.00am - 5.30pm and Sunday 10am-2pm. Full time positions will have a day off in the week and a 4 weekly Saturday/Sunday rota, usually with 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays off per month.

🛍️ Previous retail experience is required as well as a friendly helpful attitude towards customers and fellow team members. Full training will be given.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be a key member of the Trusty Pet Supplies Team.

The Role:

🐾 Provide the best customer service and advice to pet owners.

🐾 Ensure the store is clean, tidy and well stocked at all times.

🐾 Assist with checking off and putting away deliveries, ensuring stock rotation is completed.

🐾 General day to day and housekeeping retail tasks.

🐾 Must be able to use your own initiative as well as work in part of a team.

🐾 A strong work ethic and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role.

As the biggest raw food Superstore in the UK we have a huge display of 50 freezers so there is also an element of filling these freezers from the big walk in freezer and checking off deliveries which need to go into the freezer.
