No Walkies on Tuesday . It’s too hot at 27 degrees at 9am even for early walks . Not worth putting your best pals at risk . I’m happy to do toilet breaks for any dogs home alone . Safety first 🐾🐾

🐾🐾🐾 🐾 🐾 WEATHER NOTICE 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

During the summer months it will sometimes be necessary to change how we do things based on the weather .

Walks will need to be earlier/ shorter and involve shade and water . I will NOT keep a dog out in the heat to fulfill a time requirement .

Some will be changed to home visits as walks will not be appropriate. I will always keep you fully informed and of course look at your dogs individual circumstances .

We have Cool mats , fresh water etc but sometimes it will just be too hot !!!! Your dogs safety is my number 1 priority .

A few weeks ago we said goodbye to our special friend Chip . I’ve not really been able to find the words but today feels right .

Chip has been walking with me for the past 11years . If your pal has joined us in that time chances are Chip ( and Inka ) was the first dog they were introduced to . What can I say about Chip , he could find a glass half full in any situation , had a wicked sense of humour and a permanent grin . He loved life and could always be trusted to raise spirits on even the gloomiest day .

What a lot of you don’t know is how Chip came to live with his mum and Inka . He was seized in a cruelty case .and was not doing well in kennels . So off on foster he went to Sally and Inka . This was his new beginning . Things weren’t always easy at the start but my goodness his new mum got stuck in and what a job she did . He was absolutely devoted to her and the gentlest dog . He had a great life of adventures and seaside holidays . I count myself very lucky to have been in Chips life and honoured to be asked to be there as he said goodbye .

Good bye Mr Chip and god bless you . There will have been friends waiting for you 🌈 love always

Oscar (13 ) Poppy (15 ) and youngster Ted . It’s a real privilege to look after your best mates . Oscar has been walking with me for 10 years and Poppy for 9 years . We always have a lovely time , they tell me where they want to go and I do the driving 😉 . Feel very lucky to have such lovely pups and pawrents in the Topnotch family 😊❤️
