We have had a lot of people drop out of today's sessions.
I think what is best is to cancel all classes and I will speak with the community centre to see if a room is free one evening this week.

I will drop you an email by tomorrow to let you know which day I have the room.

We are very excited to share details of our next set of puppy and dog training classes

The next courses are Sunday 17th July

Puppy course - 12.30

Naughty but nice class for puppies and dogs over 9 months - 1.30

Kennel Club Bronze - 2.30 pm

Kennel Club Silver - 3.15 pm

All classes are held Oakwood Community Centre, Springwood Dr, Oakwood, Derby, DE21 2RQ

The courses will be for 8 weeks and each cost £150.00 (please note that full payment will be required to secure your place as places are limited)
If you have holidays booked within this time then please let us know so we can secure extra time with you so you are not missing out on a week of vital training (there will be no extra charge for this)
We do encourage that if you have children then to bring them with you so they can take part in the training too.
1:1 bookings are now open on a Sunday morning.

We also do Mantrailing (teaching a dog to find a missing person) if you are looking for a new fun hobby with your pooch.

With over 30 years hands on experience and being a pro dog concept trainer and part of the Kennel Club good citizens you can rest assure that you and your pooch is in very good hands with us.

Are you looking for something new and fun to do with your dog? Do you just want to get out for a few hours to enjoy some peace and quiet with like minded people? Do you and your dog want to learn a new life skill?
If so then Mantrailing is just what you are looking for.
We have new introduction dates to Mantrailing now live on the website.
Monday 27th June at 9.30 Bramcote Hills Park.
Wednesday 6th July at 3.30 at Chaddesden Park
Saturday 23rd July at 1.30 Bramcote Hills
Tuesday 9th August at 9.30 at Chaddesden Park

Mantrailing is a fun and active hobby available for owners and dogs of all ages and abilities, it is teaching search and rescue techniques where you and your dog become a team to find missing persons, only 1 dog is worked at any time so even reactive dogs can take part in this fun sport.

I have posted a video of Marley working the trails, the video was done on a day it had been pouring with rain, the trail was heavily contaminated by other walkers and dogs and aged 50 minutes long. At the point this video was taken Marley had only been Mantrailing for 7 months!

This will be held at Oakwood Community Centre on Springwood Drive, Oakwood at 10am on Sunday 12th June.
During this time there will be talks, demonstrations, Q&A, homework and after support, everything you need to start enjoying that pawfect walk again.
