When you agree to a few weekend dog walks and the British weather says “Are you sure about that?” 😂🌧️🐾 Plenty of rain and mud yesterday but still very happy dogs — just how they like it! Much better weather today thankfully.

Started the week with clear blue skies and ended it with rainstorms. Nothing like breaking us in gently. ⛈️

The school holidays always shake things up! 🐾

A few of my regular four-legged clients have jetted off on their holidays, which means the diary’s a little quieter. The upside? Less traffic = no school run chaos!

My gang certainly haven’t complained - more time for sniffing every blade of grass, supervising the squirrels and posing for photos like the professionals they are. 📸😂

💦🐾 A little progression… and a lot of fun!

The first clip shows our underwater retrieve exercise in a slightly bigger pool. I’ve added floating balls on the surface to create a distraction, encouraging the dog to stay focused on the task, use his nose and eyes and ignore the “noise” around them.

The second clip? That’s just about having fun! 🎾💦 Letting Morse splash around, chase a bigger floating ball and enjoy the water, this helps build confidence and keeps the whole experience positive.

Training doesn’t always have to be serious. Mixing learning with play creates confident, enthusiastic dogs that love what they do—and that’s exactly what we’re aiming for.

What a warm week it’s been again!

With the temperatures still way above 20 degrees I’ve had to do quite a bit of juggling, moving walks to earlier in the day and rearranging appointments to make sure all of our furry friends stay safe and comfortable.

A huge thank you to all my customers for being so understanding, flexible and patient when the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Here are a few photos from this week’s adventures. Even with the heat, we’ve still managed to enjoy some lovely walks, plenty of sniffing and lots of happy wagging tails!
