irion Davies & Co Ltd has been right at the heart of the supply chain for the local agricultural industry since 1964, when Meirion, along with his wife Audrey, established the company on his smallholding. Originally set up to provide for those in need of seeds and animal health products, these self same items remain the company’s core business even now, however over the years we’ve expanded our product range significantly, making us the go-to for agricultural supply needs for many in Denbigh and the surrounding areas. The business stayed on the original farm site until 2001, when it moved to a purpose-built site on the Colomendy Industrial Estate in Denbigh. Hywel, Huw and Rob came into the business as soon as they left school, learnt the ropes and became active in the day to day running of the company. Our site now covers close to 1.5 acres and our delivery vans and lorries can be seen across Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Conwy, Wrexham, Cheshire and the Wirral. All fourteen of our employees are from the local area, demonstrating our commitment to the local economy. We’re well stocked with fencing materials, gates and troughs, shavings, bulk feed and fertiliser as well as a large warehouse area that stocks feed buckets and minerals, seeds, shavings, silage/hay requirements, pet supplies, agro chemicals, dairy hygiene and much more. The retail shop area is stocked with animal health products, clothing, footwear and wellingtons, toys, household items, and all general items required by farmers on a day to day basis.
