I refreshed my Level 3 Canine First Aid skills, It’s important to me to stay up to date so I can look after your dogs as best I can.

A MASSIVE THANK YOU to Jason and Paul Jeffery of Lady's Mile Holiday Park who are accommodating our Dawlish Loves Dogs and Turn the Tide in the marquee and field on Sunday 1st June. It means our stalls, presentations and talks are in a marquee out of the wind, and all activities go ahead as planned from 10am to 4pm. See our fab programme for what's on. It's just 3 minutes from our original venue at Warren Farm - but you can park there and walk in for a smashing day! No event parking on site at Lady's Mile. Lady's Mile truly has saved the day!

I’ve not been posting much on my social media lately but i’m still here!

I’m happy to announce i’ve just completed Wellbeing on walks course ran by the wonderful Know Your Dog - Behaviour & Training with Sally Lewis

The topics covered were:

- Dog body language, splitting, play bows, and 'fun policing'

- Trigger stacking, the emotional bucket, decompression

- Dog law in the UK

- Play: healthy, balanced, unbalanced

- Walking with a sensitive dog, understanding their triggers and accommodating their needs on walks

- Social preferences in dogs

- Matching up groups, introducing new dogs, managing resources on walks

- Working as part of a team around the dog, communicating with clients or other professionals, changes in behaviour including sudden reluctance to go on walks
