Please be advised the Garden Centre have decided that they will be closing 5pm Today, due to extreme heat. This is to ensure the welfare of the staff and customers

Unfortunately this means we have to close too.

We hope to go back to normal shop hours as of Saturday , weather depending.

We apologise for any inconvenience, and hope you all stay cool the next few days.

Please ensure , all water pumps , aeration pumps are running at maximum , to help with oxygen depletion in this heat , also the use of Fans pointed onto your aquariums can help maintain a more manageable temperature for your fish

THE LAST PHOTO OF MY AQUARIUM FISHLESS:
This morning, I visited my local Maidenhead Aquatics in Hawley to discuss fish stocking and my water quality. I confirmed my water hardness (TDS, KH, GH) is comparable to theirs, and importantly, two (of the three) fish species I was hoping for are thriving there. As a result, I’m excited to be adding my first fish, a small group of Ember Tetras and three Dwarf Suckermouth Catfish (Otos), to the aquarium tomorrow. After the fish are settled and the aquarium is proving stable with its new occupants, I will be adding Cherry Shrimp and a few more fish in the coming weeks.
