THE LAST PHOTO OF MY AQUARIUM FISHLESS:
This morning, I visited my local Maidenhead Aquatics in Hawley to discuss fish stocking and my water quality. I confirmed my water hardness (TDS, KH, GH) is comparable to theirs, and importantly, two (of the three) fish species I was hoping for are thriving there. As a result, I’m excited to be adding my first fish, a small group of Ember Tetras and three Dwarf Suckermouth Catfish (Otos), to the aquarium tomorrow. After the fish are settled and the aquarium is proving stable with its new occupants, I will be adding Cherry Shrimp and a few more fish in the coming weeks.

One of our customers is creating a series of videos for his channel using some hard scape bought instore , give him a follow and support a new fish keeper

On today's agenda was a trip to Maidenhead Aquatics (Dartford branch) to get some advice and ideas from Matt for my aquarium hardscape. As an experienced aquarist and aquascaper, Matt offered valuable insights into creating depth and visual interest in a planted tank. We discussed various materials, styles, and layout techniques before I browsed their selection of driftwood. After a short time, I decided on this large piece of Corbo Wood as the centrepiece for my tank. Its dramatic curves and rugged texture immediately stood out, offering the perfect natural focal point to anchor the aquascape and inspire the rest of the design.
