Jess Kahts and Dogs - Dog walking Hi! I'm Jess Kahts, a fully insured and canine first aid trained dog walker in Darlington. I also offer individual walks, as well as home visits for pups.

Nelson is my Labrador and he likes to join in on group walks as he loves a game of chase! I grew up in South Africa, always outside and always on an adventure with a pack of dogs, never less than three. Since moving here 3 years ago, I've struggled to find a forever job to settle into so the idea of being able to work from outdoors, and be going on walks all day sounded perfect. Nothing warms my h

eart more than to see happy wagging tails and tongues hanging out on a walk, as long as the doggos are enjoying it, I'm happy! The weather doesn't scare me either, I love a rainy day, and there's nothing quite like being wrapped up on a frosty winters morning, so even if its raining - it's Jess Kahts and Dogs!

Introducing the newest member to join the gang: baby Josephine Jane Mackay 🥰❤️

Nelson loves his new little sister so much and can’t wait to introduce her to all his frens! 🤩 even though she embarrassed him a little on their first walk together with her incessant wailing 🤣 I’m sure Josie will get much better at enjoying her walkies with the doggos! 🐾

And that’s it! My very last walk with the gang! 😢🐾❤️

Bertie, Oscar and Nelson had a lovely sniffy walk in the field, we tried to take it slow in the sun but Oscar and Bertie had a good game of chase and played so nicely together! 🤩

The rest of the walk was nice and shaded with plenty of exciting sniffs and a few water stops with some muddy crossings 🙈 sorry for the muddy paws! 🐾🤣 but they loved keeping cool in the stream 💦

I will miss these little doggies so much but not nearly as much as Nelson will miss them! 🐾❤️

My last walk at Sammy's Field with Skye's Place and this crazy bunch 😢🐾🤪

We really did have a crazy walk to go out with a bang! 🤣 I feel like a lot of the photos look like those jigsaw puzzles where there’s like 100 comic things happening all at once 🤣

Luna came along for one last rough and tumble with the gang, and she got a lot more rough and tumble than she bargained for! 🙊🤣 all the boys thought she was great fun so she had Nelson, Zack and Jack to fend off 🤣 but she loved it!

Little Lola had a lot to say about all the rough and tumbling 🤣 she can be seen in the photos egging them all on and really getting up close! Nothing like the old scared Lola 😎🤣

Sky was as brave as ever and tackled Nelson in the middle of a rough and tumble with the other dogs, she wasn’t scared or nervous of any of the other dogs, even when they were being very big and boisterous 😁 she really just got involved and had a great play and a run around with the lot of them! 🤩

It’s been so good to see these doggos come out of their shells and grow to be so brave and social and enjoy these plays so much! 😄 I will miss them all so much 😭🙈🐾

Lunch time walkies at Sammy's Field with Oscar, Bertie, Gus and Nelson 😁🐾

It was quite warm today so we headed straight up to the pool and Oscar walked right into the water quite happily! 😃 💦

Gus was dive bombing in after toys and Nelson thought it was just a big old water bowl 🤣

Bertie didn’t fancy getting his paws wet but quite enjoyed lying on the wet stones in the shade ☺️

In between dips this lot insisted on running around playing chase! Oscar and Gus had a good little rough and tumble, and right at the end of our walk Bertie joined in a huge game of speedy chase!

So we had a pit stop at the watering hole on our way to the car and Gus tried to swim in the water bowl 🤣🙈💦

What a wonderful walk we had to start the week! 🤩🐾

Gus, Sky and Nelson joined the doggos from Skye's Place at Sammy's Field this morning and had an absolutely amazing time!!! 🤪

It was so good to see Sky over come her shyness and really get involved with the rest of them, even the new dogs! She climbed up the ramps, jumped over the poles, drank from the pool full of splashing pups and told the boys off when she was sick of them sniffing her, good girl!! ⭐️🐾

Nelson made best friends with Tracey’s Zack, and they had the best rough and tumble! 🤪🥴

Of course Gus wanted to join in and be one of the big dogs so he tried his best to get involved but was mostly over looked due to his size 🤣

He did find someone his own size to play with and chased Red for the ball and pinched it off him a few times 🤣 they had a lovely run around together trying to keep hold of the ball 🤣

Everyone was in and out the pool and up and down the obstacles- even Gus finally managed to jump up onto the tunnel himself 🤣🤩

Walkies today with Oscar, Sky and Nelson at Sammy's Field with the Happy Paws Darlington Dog Walking, Day Care and Home Boarding Girl Gang! 🥰🐾

Oscar and Nelson were a bit overwhelmed at first when suddenly surrounded by 7 girls 🤣😱 they weren’t quite sure what to do with themselves 🤣🤪 but Oscar soon sniffed our young Nellie and followed her around the rest of the walk 😂 he even followed her straight into the pool! It seems he’s starting to enjoy the water a bit more now! 💦😁 but he couldn’t care less about the pupcakes or toys when he had his eyes set on Nellie 😍🤣

Nelson took quite a fancy to Maggie but she managed to shake him off 😎 he on the other hand, forgot all about girls and manners and personal space when the pupcakes came out 🤣🙈 he even managed to pinch one right out my hand! 😱

I think Sky quite liked being on a walk with so many girls! She seemed so relaxed and confident to dip her paws in the pool and climb up on all the obstacles 🤩😁

Such a fun day out with the doggos! 🐾🥳

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SKY! 🥳🧁🐾 🎉

This special girl celebrated her first birthday today with us at Sammy's Field! 🎉🥳

She had lots of fun with all the girls from the Happy Paws Darlington Dog Walking, Day Care and Home Boarding gang, and plenty of games of chase with Nelson! 🤩

She has come such a long way since her first walk with me and it makes me SO HAPPY to see her enjoying herself so much in a big group, and exploring new things like the pool, climbing up on the tunnels, and over the obstacles 😃

She absolutely devoured her birthday pupcake 🧁 🤤 and the other pups were all very happy to celebrate with pupcakes of their own! 🥳 what a birthday pawty! 🥳🐾 it certainly looks like Sky loved her pawty and had plenty of fun on her birthday! 🐾🎉🥳

Joining Ted on his last walk today at is Lola, Gus and Nelson along with the pack!

Lola was a bit camera shy and barely made an appearance on camera, but boy oh boy she made herself heard over the big noisy boys! 🤣 she certainly had a lot to say to them!

Ted, Gus and Nelson had the greatest time splashing about in the pool and it was a job getting them to leave! 🤣

Gus loves the jumps now and just jumps over the bar without being asked now 🤣 Ted’s not quite got the hang of it and just runs through them 🤣🙈

Lots of swimming and fun and games and 4 sleepy doggies now! ☺️🐾

He’s always been the best example and comes back (for a treat) every time he is called!! 🤩

Today he absolutely loved being in the pool and looked at me with complete confusion when I tried to call him out of the pool area 🤣 “what do you mean? Why can’t I just stay here and swim the whole time?!” 💦💦

He’s very good at getting me to throw the ball, but slightly less enthusiastic about racing the other dogs to fetch it 🤣 but as soon as someone’s got it he’s on me straight away to throw it again 🤣🤣

We’ll miss you Ted! ❤️🐾 enjoy your holidays next week! And good luck on being a big brother! I’m sure you’ll be great! 🌟

Sooooo many photos from today Swim at Sammy's Field 🤣💦 I say swim not walk because we spent most of our time in the pool ☀️💦🤩

Nelson and Gus were straight in the pool, Sky was happy just hanging around the edges, and Oscar wouldn’t go anywhere near the water until the girl he fancied dived right it 🤣 then he realized he had to get his paws wet to keep following her 🤣😍

Gus did some excellent snorkeling 🤿 big splashes and brilliant fetching! He practiced his jumps a bit too but everyone was far too excited for him so I couldn’t get many photos! 🤪

Sky had a go at the jumps too and did a great job! She tried making new friends but hung out around the humans when she felt shy. She didn’t fancy a swim but quiet enjoyed getting a splash down to cool off! 💦

Oscar took quite the liking to young Nellie the Labrador and wouldn’t leave her alone! 🤣 so he’s not around for most of the photos as he was too busy chasing tail! 😍🤣 but it was good to see him brave the water for love! What a hero 🤩

Gus and Nelson had a great walk at Sammy's Field with Skye's Place and her doggos 😁😎

I had two flying dogs who did really well on the jumps! Took Gus a few goes but after watching Nelson he got the hang of it! I had to lower the bar for his little legs so Nelson had it pretty easy! 🤣

But Gus’ favorite part has to be the pool and boy oh boy did he make a splash! 🤣 💦 he absolutely loves jumping into the pool and is doing really well at fetching pool toys! Pretty handy 😜 🐾
