weekly photo update favourites 🐶🌞🐾🍦🎀🫶🏼🤍

a very hot week, with less furry friends than usual due to the insane temperatures 🥵 but we managed to get some early morning walks in & lots of shaded areas covered🐾

two new members of the gang this week🥹🐾 we welcome Dora and Jax to the daily wag family and fell in love with them both instantly🫶🏼

treated ourselves to a Starbucks to combat the heat and cried at the cost of two coffees🤣🤭

lots of splashes, cool downs and extra hydration breaks to make sure our gang stay nice and cool ✨

we’ve had a few new followers recently & thought it would be a good time to do a “faces behind the business / account “ post🫶🏼

two girlies that love dogs, coffee, nature & yapping😅🐾☕️🌳

we’ve both moved to Derby in the last few years, met on the school pick up & shared a dream of wanting to start dog walking 🐾 with both having dogs throughout our lives & Georgia having previously been a dog walker in her old city; it was the perfect match🦴 & so The Daily Wag was born🐾

We are experts in chaos & thrive in it (thanks to our crazy children) 🤣 & strive to make our clients life’s as easy as possible & your dogs walks as fun as possible🫶🏼

a beautiful Wednesday with the boys☀️ started the morning with a very excited Noodle jumping for joy to be back on his walk with Bobby😅🥹 Noodle is also learning he has to be quicker with his treats if he doesn’t want Bob swiping them🤣

Wednesdays are usually a double walk day for Teddy but due to the higher temperatures this afternoon, we opted for a different plan today. 2 hours in the morning, in a well shaded quiet route with lots of spots for climbing, sniffing and burrowing (teds favourite) 🪵☀️🫶🏼

we had the pleasure of having gorgeous boy Bobby for a sleep over while his mummy & daddy enjoyed a night away🫶🏼
he enjoyed lots of sun bathing, bum scratches, cuddles & playing with the kids🥹 he’s been the best boy & everyone was sad to see him go home😅🐾

🐾🌼🌞 H A P P Y F R I D A Y 🌞🌼🐾

an extra special Friday for us at The Daily Wag, we’ve got our gorgeous Bobby boy for his first sleepover with us🥹🥰

he’s already made him self right at home and is enjoying rolling round the garden in the sun before it gets too hot☀️

Today is the first day of the heat wave in Derby and we’ve been making sure to take all the steps to ensure all our dogs are safe and happy during this time and making sure our clients are still getting the help they need🫶🏼❤️‍🔥

A big thank you to all the other dog walkers who have been sharing their essentials and tips for hot weather; we’ve been taking notes 📝

hope everyone has a beautiful weekend in the sun and remember to keep your dogs hydrated and shaded🐾🫶🏼

the sun was shining all day long and that’s just how we like it😎🌞🐾

started the day by taking Bobby and Noodles group walk to a slightly different spot and spent the morning in Duffield in the sunshine and even having a splash in the stream🫶🏼 (which noodle was not a fan of😅)

spent the afternoon in little over with our gorgeous boy Teddy🥹 if you haven’t already exceeded your step goal for the day Teddy will absolutely make sure you do😅🐾🫶🏼

With it being half term next week and the heatwave we are adjusting walks and time slots❤️‍🔥

We do still have availability on our group walks and for solo walks so don’t hesitate to drop us a message if you’re in the Derby area and want your pup to join in the fun🐾🫶🏼📨

managed to stay mostly dry all day🥳

our usual perfect start to the day with Bobby and Noodles group walk seeing lots of friendly faces running around🌲 and we got a double Teddy walk day🥰 a morning and afternoon walk for our full of beans boy Teddy burrowing through the fields 🌾😅
