WE'RE RECRUITING – WILDLIFE CARE MANAGER! 🦊🦔

We're looking for an experienced, compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team and help oversee the care and rehabilitation of wildlife at Kirklees Valley Wildlife Rescue.

⏰ 32-40 hours per week (4 days)
👉🏼 National Minimum Wage

As a young and growing charity, we're looking for someone who understands the challenges of working within wildlife rescue, shares our passion for animal welfare and wants to play an important role in helping us build a sustainable future.

It's a demanding but incredibly rewarding role, where your work will make a real difference to the lives of thousands of wild animals every year.

🫶🦔🤎Some more thank you’s are due. We really are very blessed and need to say a massive thank you ☺️ to ‘our Julie’ too as she is relentless with her begging emails and her follow up thank you’s.

💙Louie is a bit of an opportunist - try’s to escape when weighed. So clever, curls up into a ball and bides his time - as soon as he thinks you’re not paying attention - whoosh 💨 he’s off.
But … I’ve got his measure and know his tricks so am ready for his antics … got ya 😝🦔🦔🦔

💙Ant & Dec💙 arrived together but are growing big and strong now. Nearly at the end of their treatment plan - once they’ve gained a bit more weight they can go back home. 🏡
Ant is a bit more of a poser than Dec - who’d have thought it? 😝

💙Beautiful Bono 💙 from a 68g baby on arrival to 722g healthy adult today. He’s gone back 🏡 to Richmond where we are hoping he’ll have many happy adventures 🦔🦔🦔
😃That clears an outdoor space for Timmy tomorrow and an empty pod inside the ICU - already pre-booked 🎟️ as we have another juvenile being brought in from V4P Northallerton in the morning.
It’s certainly a very busy Autumn Juvenile season this year.

💙Amos💙 has gone home today at 698g. A bit of a difference to the poorly baby who arrived here early in September. Please wish him many safe adventures now he’s back on home turf 🪴🏡
We do however have some very poorly 🤒❤️‍🩹 ones inside the ICU - as they grow bigger those nasty parasites mature and become active. George, Eddy, Bob and Snuffs really need your positive thoughts, well wishes and love right now please 🙏
