Please be aware, I will be monitoring the weather over the summer, in the interest of the dogs in my care I will just routines accordingly.

🚫 Don’t Walk. Don’t Risk It. 🚫

Dogs can’t handle heat like we can.
Once signs of heatstroke show, it’s already serious.

⚠️ Signs of heatstroke:

🐶 Excessive panting
🐶 Lethargy or wobbliness
🐶 Vomiting or diarrhoea
🐶 Red or pale gums
🐶 Collapse

💥 If you spot any of these:

🏃 Get to shade
💦 Immerse in cool (not ice cold) water – a paddling pool, bath, or stream is ideal
🌬 Fan or breeze to help bring temp down
📞 Call your vet immediately

🐾 Young pups, golden oldies, flat faces and chunkier dogs are most at risk.

🛑 “They wanted to go for a walk” isn’t a good enough reason.

Let them chill, play inside, and live to walk another day.
