Happy New Year everyone!

It's been a very busy few days on the phone. Lots of bookings coming in for this year and next. Please book as early as you can. Although I'm still not currently taking on any new customers I still have dates this year that are already full. May and June in particular are very busy so if you need to make a booking for then please do it sooner rather than later.

If you have an existing booking that is no longer required then please let me know so that I can free up the dates for other customers.

Just a reminder that the cattery is closed from 13th February until the 21st February while I'm away myself.

**BOOKING ADVICE**

Due to the closure of several catteries in the area over the past year I have seen a tremendous increase in the amount of enquiries and booking requests recently.

As I only have the five units here I have made the decision to not take on any new clients for the time being. This is to hopefully preserve the availability that I do have for my existing customers.

That being said, I do already have some dates next year that are already fully booked. May and June in particular are very busy. So if you do have any dates in mind for 2026 please let me know as soon as possible.

Michelle is still missing!

Yesterday afternoon I was out with Jordan JL in search of beautiful Michelle. We covered areas close to the house, spoke with neighbours and people passing through to get the word out there. Two traps are set as Michelle will come out when it’s dark and quiet if spooked. Jordan JL is doing amazing with all his search efforts and has taken on experienced advice from the local cat groups so thank you for sharing the tips. Please please share and check your outer buildings within -

SPRING CHECKLIST

Looking forward to seeing many of you over the coming months!

As the Easter holidays kicks of the crazy busy season of the year I thought I'd make a little check list as a refresher for customers:

1. Vaccinations
Please check the due dates of your pets vaccinations and make sure that they are booked in for boosters if necessary in plenty of time before their stay.

2. Opening times
Please double check your travel plans / flight times to ensure that you have booked the correct dates needed for their stay. Please take into account my opening hours and pick up and drop off times. I am unable to accept pick ups and drop offs before 9:30am or after 6pm.

3. Medicine and medical conditions
Please let me know in advance if your pet has a new medical condition or is on any new medication before their stay.

4. Availability
There is very limited availability from now until September. Only existing customers will be able to be added to the cancellation list for now until September. If you have any further dates for 2025 please let me know ASAP plus the 2026 diary is open for those of you who like to be organised. You can never book too early!

Hopefully the sunshine is here to stay for a while. The three ladies that I have staying at the moment are certainly enjoying it today.

*Price Increase from 1st March*

As everyone knows, the cost of everything has increased significantly since the last price increase nearly two and a half years ago, including the running costs of the cattery.
I've held off doing this for as long as possible but unfortunately I will be putting my prices up £1 per cat per day from 1st March 2025.

The new fees from 1st March 2025 are:

Single cat £13 per day
2 cats sharing £20 per day

There will still be discounts for other combinations, such as 3/4 cats using 2 units and the long stay discount for stays of over 21 days will still be available.

2025 AVAILABILITY

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year?!
As the bookings are coming in thick and fast for this year I thought I'd post a quick availablity update:

First a reminder that cattery will be closed from Monday 24th February until Monday 3rd March.

Current dates that are full:
Easter - 17th April until 25th April
May Half Term - 24th May until 31st May
Summer holidays - 20th August to 24th August

Most other school holidays dates are extremely limited so please message me to let me know ASAP if you need to book any dates for this year.

There's quite a few bookings also coming in for 2026 already. Still lots of availability throughout next year but once again the cattery will be closed for February half term which is 14th to 21st February 2026.
