What a night!

Our project “Do You Have What It Takes to Ride a Racehorse?” was up for Project of the Year at the horsescotland Awards, and while we didn’t take the trophy home, we’re still feeling incredibly proud. 🐎✨

It’s been such a mammoth undertaking, and we’re now taking time to reflect on the experience, gather feedback from participants, and take Fossilfeild into a new era with a well-established team and fresh goals.

The project gave people the chance to experience the world of racehorses in a way that was supportive, exciting and open to everyone, and seeing it recognised by horsescotland means the world. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it happen, and to the Fossilfeild team for representing us so well!

Being nominated alongside so many brilliant projects was an honour, and we’re coming away feeling really inspired.

If you’re not familiar with them, the horsescotland Awards are all about celebrating the people, projects and organisations doing amazing things in the Scottish equestrian world.

From riders and coaches to volunteers, clubs and community projects, it’s a chance to recognise the impact being made across the country.

We’re so excited to be nominated for Project of the Year this year with our “Do You Have What It Takes to Ride a Racehorse?” programme, all about building confidence and opening up new experiences.

Feeling really grateful to be part of something like this 🐴☺️
