The team at Condorrat Vets consists of two Veterinary Surgeons, three Qualified Veterinary Nurse, four Receptionists and one Student Veterinary Nurse. The services we provide on site are
Anaesthesia
Full surgical facilities
Radiography
Dental facilities - extractions, scaling and polishing
Laboratory facilities - Urine, faeces and blood analysis
Microchipping
Weight clinics
Parasite control clinics - worms, fleas and ticks
Referral services to local specialist hospitals

November is Pet Diabetes Awareness Month!🗓🐾

Did you know that just like people, pets can develop diabetes too?

With early detection and treatment diabetic pets can live long, happy lives. Here are some of the common symptoms to keep a look out for:

💦 Drinking more than usual or urinating frequently
🍽 Increased hunger
⬇️ Weight loss
💤 Sleeping more or being less active
👀 Cloudy eyes (dogs)
🐱 Poor coat condition (cats)

If you are worried that your pet may be displaying any of these symptoms please get in touch and we can arrange a check-up🐕

Remember, remember the 5th of November 🎆

Here are some last minute tips, to help with nervous pets tonight:

🎶 Play music or the TV to try and drown out the noise from the fireworks

💥Keep windows and curtains closed to block noise and flashes

🐕 Keep pets indoors and walk dogs in the daylight before fireworks start

🐱Create a safe space for your pet

🐶Distract your pet with toys or chews

❗️Stay calm yourself- act as normal, your pets will gain comfort from your calm behaviour
