Can’t quite believe I’m writing this so soon……beautiful Lowla unexpectedly crossed the rainbow bridge last week.
Recently diagnosed with DCM, we knew her health would decline, but hoped she’d have longer……
I started walking Lowla (LowLow) nearly 6 years ago after a chance meeting. She was such a striking Doberman, I had to say hello…..being a little nervous, and dog reactive, we started with solo walks until I got to know her. Carefully matching her with level headed calm dogs meant she learnt to make friends-Paddy, Jimmy and Clover were first, followed by her best mate Minty, who she would run around with and wrestle on every walk. They were a perfect match🥰
More recently she’s been walking with Bonnie and Finn also.
Lowla, you have left a big Dobie shaped hole in my mornings, we all miss you so much.

Good girl Lowla, I’m sure you are having the best time up there, chasing squirrels, enjoying the wind in your ears, and catching up with dear ol’ Paddy🧡🤎

Scout and I had the chance to visit Mobleys Meadow Secure Dog Field this morning and it did not disappoint!
Really impressed with this lovely field…..nice quiet but easily accessible location, super secure, plenty of things to do, and ample dog bins and bags. Little shelter for bad weather including towels to dry off. As a dog walker I really appreciated the separate ‘poo paddock’ before entering the main field.
Highly recommend 🙌🏼⭐️

Can’t recommend Claire Ford Veterinary Physiotherapy enough. Elly was our physio for all of Scout’s rehab programme and she was fantastic!
They work with sports dogs and working dogs as well as those needing rehabilitation, based in Nether Heyford.

🐾🐰Easter Weekend🐰🐾
As usual, no walks over the long weekend.
Also, with Scout back in action🙌🏼 official walk days are back to Mon-Fri
(Weekends limited)

I do like being able to include Scout in my days walks- It’s not always logistically possible and she’s super picky about her mates(aren’t we all🤷🏼‍♀️)
She does, however, love a greyhound so I knew she’d get on with Gus, the best one I know🥰🐾

Standard post walks evening, tumble dryer going in the background…….anyone know when it will stop☔️?!
