Hi all,

I find myself if the regrettable position of having to issue a price increase.

I know everyone is feeling the pinch at the moment but with rising running and living costs I’ve been struggling to make ends meet.

As of Monday the 3rd June, any new appointments will be charged at the following prices. Any existing appointments will be honoured at the current price.

I’m sure you’ll all understand my position, please contact me if anyone has any issues.

A great farrier and a happy horse ( and owner!) April lost a shoe whilst showing her moves around the field this morning, mummy had booked cross country training tomorrow 🥶. Step in Sam Hills to replace and plans back on!!

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

I’ve been reluctant to post this and have been putting it off for a while. However due to the ever increasing price of literally everything, I’m feeling more pressure to increase my own prices.

Please find the following an updated price list.

Any existing appointments that we have booked together will be honoured at the current price but any appointment made from now on will be charged at the following:

Full set: £90
Half set: £50
Half set with hinds trimmed: £60
Discount of £5 per pair of refitted shoes
Single trims: £30
Multiple trims: £25
Road studs: £2.50 each
Stud holes: £1.25 each

A message to my clients.

During these difficult times I am following the advice of the FRC and the WCF, and of course the government.

At present I will continue to shoe as normal and honour appointments booked.

As long as your horse isn’t dangerous I’m happy to help myself as long as they are in the stable and easily accessible and good to catch. I will be following the social distancing guidelines and expect my clients to do the same. There is no need for me to have any human contact or close interaction when going about my daily round.

Until it is illegal for me to carry on my business I will on the grounds of animal welfare. If I develop symptoms of course I will have to stop for a while.

That’s a wrap! Thank you to all my clients new and old, 2019 has certainly been a year we won’t forget. We’re out of office over Christmas whilst we celebrate with this little one! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all! See you in 2020!
