In order to properly heal behavioural issues or bad habits you need to understand where they are coming from and teach your dog how to let go of them. Simply suppressing the behaviours with controlling measures is not really a fix because the underlying issues are still there. We have some great techniques to make this easy for you and your dog. We help you to better understand your dog and teach

you how to build a deeper relationship with them, one that fosters trusted co-operation rather than simply "do as I say". When you see a dog totally devoted and attentive to it's owner, the one that will sit and wait outside the shop with no lead on for it's owner to come back, that's what we are talking about..........

We contacted Colin to help with our reactive miniature dachshund who also had issues with resource guarding. Colin instantly put all our concerns at ease and really took time to explain the root cause of our dogs issues which was emotional insecurity. After just one session we had a clear plan of action and saw immediate progress. We can’t thank Colin enough and would recommend to anyone!

Can’t highly recommend Enough, from the moment me and husband spoke on the phone with Colin to the moment Colin turned up to our house he was nothing but patient and accommodating to our very nervous Rottweiler. Colin ensured that I was ok and most importantly helped me train alongside my dog. The support and constant feedback is priceless and he ensured that my confidence was in line with my girl. Tonight we have a different dog but most importantly it’s been life changing and my girl can be comfortable around our home. We still have a lot of work to do but ever so grateful for Colin’s support.

What a great experience. From the phone call enquiry to the meeting and session. Colin is a great guy with amazing knowledge. The transformation in my rottweiler in just a thew hours was unbelievable. Plans have been put into place and with continuous hard work that Colin will help with I am now feeling confident in the future with my girl.

Also huge shout out to Maggie Colins dog. Our nala is nervous around other dogs and Maggie made her feel very comfortable and helped massively to overcome that.

I wish I had contacted Colin before now. We have had numerous behaviourists and after our telephone conversation with him and our session we understood exactly where we were going wrong. My dog Nova wouldn’t walk at certain places but after using a slip lead and watching Colin work with hee after five minutes of doing so my dogs behaviour changed and she walked quietly by his side on a walk tgst she won’t normally go. I was truly amazed. We hdve been so anxious and worried in the past and it wasn’t enjoyable going out walking with her as she would just sit down and not go but today I walked her and by using Colin’s techniques and also listening to his advice had a pleasureable walk which has been the first for many months. I cannot thank him again and would highly recommend anyone that has any problems with their furry friends to contact him for advice and guidance.

We met Colin and Maggie recently and are so glad we did. Our pup is very insecure and reactive to other dogs, for the past 6 months or so she hasn’t wanted to go out walking with us. Colin has given us the tools and confidence to build her trust in us and for all of us. She even walked in to the vets not once but three times, which is a first for us ! Lovely Maggie came for a walk and River was quite content to walk along side her rather than try and eat her ! We would highly recommend Colin to anyone who is struggling. Thank you.

I met with Colin yesterday and straight away felt at ease. I watched how he was with my young dog, Soli and his whole presence was one of calm, kindness and understanding.
Colin took the time to tell me the way dogs brains work and why Soli was behaving reactively to other dogs, bikes, magpies, fireworks etc!
We discussed in great detail my issues and how I have been feeling and struggling to be the leader.
Colin was very very knowledgeable and understood immediately and with positive words and explanations we went out to see how Soli behaves.
The secret in my wonderful transformation was in Colins hands initially. A simple slip lead that went behind Solis ears and onto his head was placed onto him. Off we went. I was amazed at the calmness and overjoyed at the simple process that enabled me ultimately to be in control and for Soli to know it.
I had tried many trainers and one behaviourist since getting Soli at 12 weeks old.
No one was really able to help me with his jumping and reactivity which would often have me in tears and shutting myself in the kitchen.
For the very first time I felt that Colin had taught me to be in control and not to be anxious or emotional anymore.
We had a wonderful walk where I tried my best to remain confident and it worked so well.
Last night and this morning my two walks were almost a complete delight. Any reacting had me in control. Soli knew it and so did I.
This is a fairly long review because I had no idea that I would be able to ever walk Soli and take him to normal social places. Off lead he has always had the freedom to swim, run and play...for 2 weeks we are not having any freedom...and I know that this will work.
What Colin has done has given me back a fairly normal life where I don't have to worry and be fearful of who is coming around the corner or what can i do to avoid etc when on walks.
Please contact Colin if you want to feel better with your dog and your dog to feel and act better with you.
I can 100% recommend his service and although I had to wait a few months to see him it certainly was worth the wait and worth every penny.
Thank you Colin for everything that you did to show Soli and I how to have a better and easier life together. I will be forever grateful.
