It is with great sadness that we let all Toby's friends know that he fell asleep & has crossed the rainbow bridge to carry on chasing deer & hovering under picnic tables.
Unfortunately the big C was too much for him to fight, though he did so right up until the end.
We will miss him terribly as he was such a big part of our lives.

Hello everyone! Just an update on what's going on with me!
Unfortunately I had a sore come up on my chest, which when removed turns out it's the big C! Felt ruff after the op & then mum dressed me in her old T-shirts so I didn't make a mess around the house. We went to a specialist who gave mum & dad the options. I didn't understand what was being said but knew mum & dad needed cuddles so I let them scratch me behind my ears!
I started on some posh tablets, accidentally bit into one, ugh!!
A couple weeks ago Pops had a cough & she gave it to me, charming! She was ok but I was back up to see the vets to get poked & prodded again. More tablets but felt better.
Regular blood tests show I'm getting anaemic, doesn't stop me from taking off after those pesky deer when mum drops her guard.
🦌May have gone a bit far this time.... mum fell in a bog, sinking right upto her thighs. She said it was her 'Vicar of Dibley' moment, whoever that is.
Trouble is I think I've pulled more than a muscle, still sore & having to limp around so we're off to the vets again.
Will keep you all posted. Thanks for all the woofs & wags mum's passed on.

So mum has just taken us all down to Brighton as a family plus Bailey & auntie Orla for the inaugural Dog Jog! Very small group, only 17 other bums to sniff & I already knew 2 of them! Dad was supposed to stay with me but despite my super slimline build now I stayed with the girls. Well someone has to keep an eye on them! As a treat we all had ice cream at the end to go with our medals! Now I have 1 of my own!!

It was my birthday last week, 6! & I got together with a few friends, new & old to cause a bit of a stir in the village....

It was my birthday last week, 6! & I got together with a few friends, new & old to cause a bit of a stir in the village. Not often you see 6 of us good looking beagles walking down the high street on the way to have home made birthday cake!

To all my Cuckfield friends, there is a wonderful pile of loveliness just to the left of the guillotine gate going into New England Woods. I now smell amazing. For some reason mum's not talking to me now! Except I do keep hearing the word BATH!!
