🦉 Meet Our Newest Arrival! 🐣

Say hello to the newest (and fluffiest) member of the Wildlife Wonders family — a baby Boobook Owl! 💚

This little legend is just starting his journey with us and will be hand-reared with expert care to ensure he grows up confident, healthy, and full of character. In time, he’ll join our team of animal ambassadors, helping to educate and inspire as part of our interactive wildlife shows and flying displays! 🪽✨

Boobook Owls are the smallest species of owl in Australia, but don’t let that fool you — they’re full of personality and perfectly adapted for life as a stealthy nocturnal predator. 🌙👀

Keep an eye on our page for updates as he grows, trains, and spreads his wings for the very first time in public. We can’t wait to share his journey with you! 💫

We’ve Got a New Arrival at Wildlife Wonders UK! 🦨❤️

We’re thrilled to announce the birth of a beautiful baby skunk, born right here at Wildlife Wonders UK to our much-loved skunks, Maverick and Blossom!

This tiny bundle of fluff is already stealing hearts with its curious nature and adorable squeaks. Both mum and baby are doing incredibly well, and Maverick is proving to be a very proud dad!

Skunks are often misunderstood animals, but they play a vital role in the ecosystem, helping to control insect populations. As part of our mission to educate and inspire, we’re excited to use this new arrival to help more people appreciate just how amazing skunks really are.

Stay tuned for updates (and plenty of cute photos!) as our newest little ambassador grows up.

Embark on a thrilling wildlife adventure with Wildlife Wonders this Easter! Our camp is for children aged 6-11 and will take place at Darrick Wood Junior School. Join us on the 9th, 10th, 16th, or 17th of April from 10am to 2pm for a day filled with fun and learning. (This a drop off session)

Children will have the opportunity to watch live animal demonstrations by our expert animal educators, engage in animal handling sessions, participate in an exciting Easter egg hunt, unleash their creativity with crafts, enjoy fun games, and much more!

*All of our staff are fully trained, Enhanced DBS checked, First aid and safeguarding qualified*

🌿🐾 Join the Adventure! Wildlife Ranger Club is Hiring! 🌟🐊🐢🐍🦥🦜🦉

Are you passionate about wildlife and love sharing your knowledge with young minds? We're seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Animal Educator to join our after-school team! 🦔✨

Position: Animal Educator/ Keeper
Hours: 10 hours/week with potential to move up to 45 hours/week. 5 different locations with opportunity to work at our up and coming centre.
Salary: £20 per hour - (10 hour week)

Responsibilities: 🦇
- Engage and inspire children aged 6-11 in the captivating world of wildlife.
- Work with an array of fascinating creatures: reptiles, birds, mammals (including porcupines and hedgehogs), spiders, insects, and frogs.
- Conduct educational sessions, fostering a love for nature and conservation.
- Lead a class of up to 30 children, ages-6-11 - and safeguarding protocol.
- Cleaning and feeding our animals
- Building, clearing and rubbish removal at our up and coming centre.

Requirements: 🦥
- Must be able to drive and possess a vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or ability to obtain).
- Relevant experience or qualifications in animal education.
- Training provided on the job.
- animal and child care qualifications are beneficial but not essential.

Workday: 🦨
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm (progressing to 8am - 5pm)
