Wildmoor Walkies Dog Walking Service was established in 2014 by best friends Michelle and Vikki. In October 2022 Vikki hung up her leads and Michelle now runs the business by herself. Michelle knows

the Crowthorne & Sandhurst area very well, including the best and most fun places to walk your dog! So if you are looking for a caring, trustworthy, reliable and experienced dog walker you have come to the right place! Using Wildmoor Walkies means you can rest easy knowing your dog is in good hands while you are getting your work done, whether you are working from home or in your workplace! Walking with us will provide a consistent routine for your dog - the Wildmoor Walkies Gang (as we like to call them!) know when we're coming and are frequently patiently waiting for us at the front door! Let us help you with walks providing your furry addition to the family with some stimulation and quality time outdoors in the lovely woods surrounding Crowthorne. **Please note Wildmoor Walkies follows guidance from the Kennel Club and and therefore do not include puppies on our one hour group walks until they are one year of age**

For your peace of mind we are fully insured and are DBS checked (criminal records checked) and hold certificates in pet first aid. At Wildmoor Walkies we do things a little differently. The maximum number of dogs we walk is four to minimise the amount of time they spend in the car on their way to and home from our walks. Walking small groups also allows us to put the dogs on lead quickly and efficiently if necessary and be in control at all times. It is also less intimidating to other people with or without their own dogs who may be out walking in the woods in and around Crowthorne. The majority of the Wildmoor Walkies Gang have been with us for years. We are proud to say we do not have a high turnover of dogs and because of this we know the dogs we walk inside out and back to front! When we introduce new dogs to the Wildmoor Walkies Gang we do so carefully and sensitively so we don’t upset the dynamics of the group walk. You can rest assured we will ensure your dog is put with a group of like-minded dogs who have the same energy levels and sense of fun! Our private Facebook group is updated weekly with photos from our walks and we can also text a pupdate if requested. We really do care for your dog's wellbeing and whilst they are with us we love and treat them as our own. The Wildmoor Walkies Gang are like extended family to us. Your dog will even receive a birthday present and at Christmas we make a donation to a local dog charity on behalf of the Wildmoor Walkies Gang! We are responsible dog walkers and follow the Professional Dogwalkers’ Guidelines published by the Dogs Trust, RSPCA and Pet Industry Federation. We also follow guidance from the Thames Basin Heaths Partnership and Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust when walking in the heathlands and we are conscientious pooper scoopers! Your First Step

If you are interested in our dog walking services, we will arrange a walk in the woods together to see how your dog interacts with the Wildmoor Walkies Gang and you can see if you are happy with the way we conduct ourselves on our walks. During the walk we can discuss your requirements and give you the peace of mind and confidence that your dog will be happy with us before you decide to use our services. Once you have made the decision to go forward, we will email you our Terms & Conditions and ask you to complete our Walking Care Plan which includes questions regarding your dog’s health, behaviour etc. The Next Step

Leave the rest to us! Come rain or shine we will arrive at your door with a smile ready to look after your furry friend when you can't be there for them yourself. Dog Walker in Crowthorne and Little Sandhurst area within a 2 mile radius. CALL MICHELLE ON 07904 460865

Obviously if I was on holiday by a pool with a Pina Colada this would be lovely weather 🤣🏝️ 🍹 But this week it’s been early walks sticking to the shade and water and lots of slurps! Keeping the WW doggies safe and well is always my priority. Now to keep my two pups cool. 🥵

☀️ 🐾 Keeping Pets Cool in Hot Weather 🐾 ☀️

With these extreme temperatures, it's important to help our pets stay safe and comfortable. Here are some simple ways to keep your pets cool and safe over the next few days.

🐶 Dogs
• Avoid exercising during the hottest parts of the day. Early morning or late evening walks are safest, and on very hot days it's best to skip walks altogether.
• Always provide access to fresh, clean water.
• Offer cooling mats, damp towels, or shaded areas to rest.
• Frozen Kong toys or pet-safe frozen treats can help keep dogs cool and entertained.
• Never leave your dog in a parked car, even for a few minutes.

🐱 Cats
• Ensure fresh water is available at all times, in multiple locations if possible.
• Provide cool, shaded resting spots indoors and outdoors.
• Cooling mats, fans, and damp towels can help lower body temperature.
• Encourage cats to stay indoors during the hottest part of the day.

🐰 Rabbits & Guinea Pigs
• Keep hutches and enclosures out of direct sunlight and ensure plenty of shade.
• Make sure fresh water is always available.
• Place cooling mats, frozen water bottles wrapped in towels, or ceramic tiles in their enclosure for them to lie against.
• Use fans to improve air circulation, but don't direct airflow straight onto them.
• Offer fresh, water-rich vegetables as appropriate for their diet.

⚠️ Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, lethargy, drooling, weakness, or collapse. If you are concerned your pet may be suffering from heatstroke, please contact us immediately.
Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay safe.
