We all remember the basics (collar, lead, food ect), but do you ever think about a doggy 🐕 first aid kit?

These are some of the essentials we take with us.

Leucillin, is a handy antiseptic skin care spray that can be used on minor wound, abrasions, scratches and even eyes and ears. This can even be used on us too so no need to take a different antiseptic, for any scratches we might get.

Tick twisters to safely remove these pesky critters.

We all know about slip, slap, slop when applying sun cream, do forget light coloured pets can suffer from sun burn. Especially on noses and the tips of their ears.

👋 We will be saying a fond farewell to Freya on Saturday 😭
Freya has been with us nearly two years and has been an integral part of our team.
Exams done she is taking a well deserved gap year, then heading to uni 🎓to continue her studies.
Please join us in wishing her all the best.

🌞 With the weather not looking to cool down until at least early next week. How do we keep our dogs from going crazy, being unable to go out and play safely unless early morning or late evening?🌙

🐾 Scent‑based enrichment

Snuffle mats — Hide treats or kibble; encourages natural foraging.

Scatter feeding — Toss kibble around the garden or a safe indoor area.

Box search — Fill cardboard boxes with paper and hide treats.

Scent trails — Drag a treat around the house/garden for them to track.

🧩 Problem‑solving enrichment

Puzzle feeders — Slow feeding + mental challenge.

LickiMats — Spread wet food, peanut butter, yoghurt; freeze for longer engagement.

Kong stuffing — Layer kibble, wet food, banana, yoghurt; freeze for difficulty.

DIY puzzles — Muffin tin + tennis balls; plastic bottles with holes.

🐕 Chewing & licking (calming enrichment)

Long‑lasting chews — Yak chews, natural chews, stuffed hooves.
