CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Coming into the National hunt season once again, we will likely be looking for a rider Monday-Friday mornings and someone to be able to go racing/drive the lorry and take charge of the horses whilst at the races. The opportunity to travel round the country and be involved in some really exciting days with the horses and team/owners, of which we are incredibly lucky to have some amazing owners supporting the yard with some exciting horses.
Must be a confident and competent rider that has initiative and being reliable is vital. Experience in youngsters is a bonus and the ability to break in would be a huge bonus but not essential.
Hours are flexible as we are a very laid back relaxed yard, and can work around each other.
Must be a person that will easily fit in around our daily lifestyle (sometimes that might include rescuing an escaped sheep somewhere 🤣) and be able to drink and eat their body weight in tea and biscuits in our farm house kitchen when the days are damp!
We are a kind and laid back family who will welcome you into our home, and will always make sure your looked after, lovely horses to ride and deal with, and a very calm relaxed atmosphere here and around the yard/farm.
Wage depends on hours, age and experience.
Accommodation may be an option for a single person if needed (to be discussed).
