Well that’s a wrap for Pony Club Championships 2026 for Field House and what a fantastic final championships it’s been!
Novice team dressage started the week off with the team of Elizabeth and Storm, Anna and Georgia, Megan and Campbell, and Amy and Hugo (who was a last minute substitute for Saffron) taking a respectable 26th out of 41 teams.
The girls were determined to move up the placing and that they did on Wednesday in the intermediate competition with the team taking a super 13th out of 40 teams and being the highest placed centre! 🎉 Solid performances from all of the horses and in particular Storm and Elizabeth who took 4th 🥳place individually, narrowly missing out on a place in the ride off.
Wednesday saw Elizabeth and Sarah (as a team manager) taking part in the inaugural Home International Horsemanship Competition which saw all 4 nations battling it out to be crowned champions. Elizabeth’’s team finished 7th whilst Sarah led her team to 3rd place 🥉!
Today, for the final time 😢 Field House competed as a Pony Club Centre in the Senior H&P Care taking 11th place and once again being the highest placed centre! Elizabeth, Laura and Megan put in super performances in some very tough rounds.
Huge thank you to Rebekah, Gemma and Alison for driving the team horses to Offchurch, Abby for being top plaiter and groom, and Sarah, Pip and Gary for cheering on the teams.
Pony Club Championships has been a highlight for Field House Pony Club for many years and it was an emotional week for everyone knowing that it was our last but we have made so many amazing memories over the years!
Field House is definitely THE BEST TEAM ever! ❤️
