UPDATE-

I am as of this morning going to try to slowly getting back to work and catching up on all of your cancelled appointments as soon as possible. I am about 3 weeks behind and apologise many of you are overdue. Thank you so much for all your patience, I will be in contact with you very soon and look forward to seeing you all.

As a few of you are already aware I had a bit of an accident last Tuesday and cut my hand, I had to have surgery last Thursday and have just been for a follow on appointment today. Sadly I have had to cancel my appointments for the start of next week too as I’m still bandaged up and in a sling.

I’m back to hospital again on Tuesday and will hopefully know more then and keep you all up to date.

I’m so sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you all and really appreciate your understanding.

Please feel free to message me for any advise on home grooming and will get back to you asap.

Again I’m so sorry to let you all down and will be back in that van as soon as I possibly can to see you all 🐶 ❤️

COVID19 UPDATE

In line with the most recent guidelines regarding dog grooming from PIF approved by DEFRA, there are changes to how i am able to operate. The latest guidelines are as follows-

'Groomers may accept a dog to be groomed by appointment where it is necessary for the animals welfare and not simply for aesthetic reasons. Welfare reasons could include veterinary advise for a skin condition or excessive matting causing the pet discomfort. When routine grooming can be delayed without affecting the pet's welfare until the national lockdown is eased it should be put off'

In a nutshell the grooms that will be going forward will include:
-Veterinary referral
-Nail trimming where the nails are causing discomfort to the dog
-Matted dogs, or dogs that are at risk of becoming matted very soon.

Routine grooms that do not require the dogs hair being clipped are not able to go ahead as this is grooming for aesthetic reasons rather than welfare (unless they fall into one of the categories above). Every routine groom HAS to justify a welfare detriment if i do not attend. Please do not be offended if i ask for a photo or call for a chat. I am trying my hardest to ensure all government guidelines are met. If you have any concerns regarding your dogs welfare and do not fit into one of the categories above or would like any advise on maintaining home grooming please do not hesitate to give me a call or drop me a message!

Each case will be considered on a individual basis, no two dogs are the same. I will be in contact with you, please be patient and await my contact, i will be contacting you the week prior to your appointment as things change regularly.

It's with a heavy heart i have to make this change as i love my job and i love seeing all my lovely customers regularly! Ultimately my priority is to keep each and every one of you safe during this most recent extreme in the pandemic as well as myself. Let this step help in the reduction of the spread of this awful virus, so we can return to a normal healthy life.

I am still currently unable to take on any new business at the moment, this is reviewed regularly and I will announce as soon as space is available.

I am safely back up and running! I thank you all for your patience and understanding during the current situation we’re all in.

I am working on my diary daily and will be in contact with you regarding rebooking in due course- please be patience with me, you are all being considered and I will be with you as soon as I can.

Please note- I am not able to take on any new dogs at present, this will be reviewed again once I’m up to date.

Evening,
I’m sure this post may be expected after Boris’ recent announcement tonight regarding non essential work.
I’m left with no choice other than to close business for the 3 weeks as recommend. It’s with a heavy heart however the safety of myself and my customers is vital!
