I’m so sad to say that I’m closing my little doggie care business 💔🐶

Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the past 6 months — whether it was a like, a follow, a kind word, or booking my services. It has truly meant the world to me.

I’ve loved every moment with my furry friends, and I’ll miss them more than I can say. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but it’s the right one for my health and wellbeing.

When Rufus & Pepper met Max

Today’s walk was a lovely one. Rufus and Pepper, the calm Labrador siblings, teamed up with Max the young Golden Retriever — and the three of them settled into the field together beautifully.

As a solo walker, I only pair dogs when the mix feels right, and this trio was such an easy, natural match. Gentle sniffing, steady pacing, and three happy dogs enjoying each other’s company.

A really peaceful outing for all of us.

The temperatures jumped up today, so our focus shifted to shade, airflow and keeping things gentle. We took slower, calmer routes and let the dogs set an easy pace so no one was exerting themselves in the warmth. Days like this are a really useful test run for the height of summer — finding the cool pockets, the sheltered paths and the breezy spots now means we’re well prepared when the real heat arrives.

🌿 Max’s Third Walk 🌿

Brilliant progress from Max today. Only his third walk with me and he was off‑lead the whole time — calm, connected, and making great choices.

His squeaky ball was the star of the show. A quick squeak and his recall was instant. It’s always so helpful learning what truly motivates each dog, and for Max, that little toy is everything.

He’s now absolutely zonked at home, which I know will make his owner’s afternoon a little lighter. A good walk, a tired dog, and a very happy boy 💚
