These two girls live together. They have special care as the Hippy Chick the Chocolate satin girl is totally blind. She manages well as long as I keep things in the same place. She is fairly dependent on Minka the black girl. They are often found snuggled up together.

Some of my youg birds from this years breeding season. I am concentrating on Citron Silkies and have hatched quite a fw out this year and have quite a few nice looking growers now. i have not hatched as many Serama so far this year but have hatched a couple of very interesting coloured ones. They are both Pullets and I am looking forward to seeing how they develop.

A brood of chocolate and Chocolate silver partridge Mini Silkies. I love these little ones. Dad is Silver my mini Silver Partridge Silkie. Mum is Coco my Chocolate Silver Partridge hen. there are 2 Silver Partridge Chicks, 3 Chocolate chicks and 2 Chocolate silver Partridge babies :) Looking forward to watch them develop

Maisie the Millefleur Serama hatched out a few eggs. A bit late in the season really so I had to bring her inside so the babies had enough warmth and light to feed and grow. As they have developed it is now fairly obvious that all four are boys. They are very pretty and they all look to be carrying mottle so will be great for breeding more millefleurs.

In addition to the Silkies and Seramas I also keep Black East Indies ducks. These are a small breed of duck that are a glossy green colour all over. Very pretty to look at and good layers.

I have at present 2 drakes looking for some girls of their own. They were bred this year. Although it would be nice to put them with other ducks of the same breed they will live quite happily with other breeds. Or 2 males together will live happily on their own and become tame making very good pets. Unlike chickens male ducks are the quiet ones enabling them to live happily in gardens and cause no problems with neighbours. Anyone interested please send me a message
