🌞 Keeping Your Pets Cool in the Summer Heat 🌞
With the soaring temperatures hitting us recently, it's more important than ever to make sure our furry and fluffy friends stay safe, happy, and cool. Here are some easy and effective ways to help your dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small animals beat the heat:

💧 Hydration is Key
• Always provide fresh, clean water—twice daily, more in hot weather.
• Freeze water in ice cube trays or make “pupsicles” using bone broth.
• Add ice cubes to small animal water bottles to keep their water cool and refreshing.

🏡 Shade & Shelter
• Ensure animals have access to shaded spots—outside, add umbrellas, canopies, or move enclosures under trees.
• Indoors, keep blinds closed to block direct sunlight and lower room temperature.
• Small pets like rabbits and guinea pigs benefit from cool tiled surfaces or ceramic tiles to lie on.

🌬️ Ventilation & Cooling
• Use fans indoors to keep air circulating.
• For rabbits and guinea pigs, place frozen water bottles near their hutches—just ensure they can move away if it gets too cold.

🚫 Avoid Over‑Exercise
• Walk dogs in the early morning or evening when it's cooler.

🚨 ARENA TEMPORARY CLOSURE TODAY & FRIDAY 🚨

Due to today’s soaring temperatures, our arena will be closed from 12 pm – 6 pm today and tomorrow to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our four-legged friends. 🐶☀️

We’re closely monitoring forecasts for Saturday—if the heat continues, we’ll also close from 12 pm – 5 pm as well.

Unfortunately, this means tonight’s Medium Breed Socialisation session has been cancelled. All booked customers have been notified.
