🧠 Nova vs. the enrichment box! 😂

Steph had Nova practising one of his brain games today, but Nova had other ideas! 🤣 After some serious side-eyes and a little tantrum, he decided to solve the problem by getting rid of the box completely.

Mental enrichment is a brilliant way to keep clever minds busy... even if Nova likes to make up his own rules! 💙🐾

💎 A big Diamond Dog Walking welcome to Gracie! 🩶🐾

Today was Gracie's very first adventure with the Diamond Dog Walking family! 🥰

Full of puppy confidence, curiosity and a whole lot of Labrador enthusiasm, she certainly kept us all on our toes! 😂💕

She also seemed to find herself a very special companion in Theo. Watching the two of them together was such a lovely part of today's walk, and we have a feeling he'll be a wonderful friend for her as she grows up. 🥹

We can't wait to watch Gracie's confidence blossom and see all the adventures she has with the gang.

A Big Diamond Dog Walking welcome to Louie!

Today was Louie's trial walk and what a fantastic first day he had! 🐾

It didn't take him long at all to settle in with the rest of the gang. He made some new friends, enjoyed plenty of play, found all the best shady spots to cool off and looked like he'd been part of the group for ages!

It was lovely to see his confidence grow throughout the morning and by the end of the walk he was one very happy boy. 💕

We can't wait to welcome him back when he officially joins the Diamond family in September! 💎

A little thank you... 🐾💚

As we (hopefully! 🤞) come to the end of this recent heatwave, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful clients for your patience, understanding and flexibility over the last few weeks.

Keeping the dogs safe has always been our priority, and thanks to your support we've been able to adapt our days, change walk times where needed and make decisions with the dogs' welfare first.

A big thank you also to Paws N Play for being so accommodating and helping us squeeze in those early morning paddock sessions, giving the dogs a chance to safely enjoy some off-lead fun before the temperatures climbed.

And finally, thank you to Steph Christie, who has been absolutely brilliant. From keeping on top of pop-in visits to making sure every dog has received the same love and care you'd expect from Diamond Dog Walking, she's been an incredible support.

We're looking forward to getting back to our normal routine from Monday 20th July, and, fingers crossed, some kinder weather too! ☀️🐶

Friendships were definitely formed today! 🐾

Obie and Bruno stole the show, becoming best friends from the moment they met. 💙

Everyone had such a lovely morning together, enjoying plenty of play, exploring and relaxing in the shade before the day warmed up. Seeing friendships and confidence grow is one of my favourite parts of this job. 🥰

Still feeling a little under the weather, but these doggos definitely cheered me up today. 🥹❤️

We enjoyed an early morning paddock session to beat the heat, spending most of our time chilling in the shade, having plenty of water breaks and cooling off. ☀️🌳💦

I even managed to get a group photo with almost everyone looking at the camera at the same time... which any dog walker knows is a miracle in itself! 😂📸

For a day where I felt pretty rubbish, I'd definitely call that a win. ❤️🐾

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of my wonderful clients today. ❤️

Unfortunately, I was hit by a nasty sickness bug overnight and had to make the difficult decision to cancel today's walks and visits. I very rarely have to do that, so I can't tell you how much I appreciate everyone's kindness, patience and understanding.

Your lovely messages have genuinely meant a lot while I've been feeling pretty rough. 🥹

I'm resting, keeping hydrated and, all being well, I'm aiming to be back out tomorrow, starting with our 9am paddock walk. 🤞🐾

Thank you all again for your continued support. I really do have the best clients, and I'm incredibly grateful for every one of you. ❤️

🧠🐾 Keeping clever minds busy! 🐾

Nova has been putting his brain to work today! 🥰

Steph introduced him to a fun little problem-solving game, and safe to say he picked it up in no time at all! 💙

Mental enrichment is such an important part of a dog's wellbeing, and for clever breeds like Border Collies it's a fantastic way to build confidence, encourage problem-solving and have lots of fun at the same time.

Well done, Nova! 🐶👏
