Hi Everybody
As some of you are already aware there is Kennel Cough about.
Symptoms often include sneezing, gagging, or producing white, foamy phlegm. While most dogs remain active and, in good spirits, some may experience mild fever, runny eyes, or nasal discharge.
If your dog starts to show symptoms please let me know as they will have to stay home from the group walks.
Vets recommend that they stay away from other dogs for 7 to 10 days.
While usually mild and self-limiting, kennel cough can progress to pneumonia, particularly in puppies, elderly, or immunocompromised dogs. Seek veterinary care if the cough persists for more than a week.
