Look at that face!

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Pickle into the shop today, and it's safe to say everyone's hearts completely melted.

Pickle is a gorgeous Cane Corso / Akita and she is already showing off those amazing, gentle giant traits.

The "Class of 2026" truly are something special, and we are so incredibly excited to watch this gorgeous girl grow.❤️

THE CLASS OF 2026 & AN APPEAL FROM THE HEART

It's been a week of massive highs and some really tough, heavy-hearted lows here at Bruno's Dinner.

We've been blessed with some seriously cute new puppy visitors over the last two days, but we are also holding a very heartbroken family in our thoughts.

First, let's introduce the new little paws that have been brightening up our shop:

🌟The Class of 2026🌟

The Dapple Dream (Pic 1) This absolute stunner stopped by with those mesmerizing blue eyes and gorgeous long-haired dapple coat Total heartbreaker!

The Gentle Giant (Pic 2): Look at that squishy, lovely face and those chunky puppy paws! This sweet white pup is going to grow into a spectacular dog.

Taz (Pic 3): Living up to his name, little Taz popped right into our basket to say hello! A gorgeous tri-color bundle of pure puppy energy

While we love sharing the joy of these pups, we also want to touch on a story that truly broke our hearts at the start of the week.

On Monday, we heard some devastating news regarding a beautiful little frenchie
and we are sending all of our love and strength to the family.

Meet the beautiful Layla.

She popped into the shop today, and while she was still a little bit nervous, she absolutely stole our hearts.♥️♥️

Layla is just 3 years old and was rescued all the way from Rhodes, Greece.🇬🇷

Looking into those gentle, soulful eyes, we don't know exactly what she has seen or been through in her past.

But looking at her today, safe and loved, we know one thing for certain. she is going to have the brightest, happiest future.

It takes time, patience, and a whole lot of love to show a rescue dog that her new world is a safe place.

Welcome to your new chapter, sweet girl.

We can't wait to see you grow in confidence and watch your tail wag a little bit faster next time you visit. ❤️

🐾 STOP YANKING, START SNIFFING! 🐾

​Ever feel like your dog is trying to read every single blade of grass on your morning walk?

​They aren’t wasting time—they are reading the local news!

​We often think a "good walk" means marching at a fast pace to tire them out. But while cardio is great, a strict "business walk" misses what your dog actually needs: Mental Enrichment.

​Here is the science behind why you need to let your dog sniff.

​🧠 A Massive Brain Workout.
A dog’s nose has up to 50 times more scent receptors than ours. When they are sniffing, their brains are working on overdrive. In fact, focused mental stimulation can tire a dog out much more peacefully than a frantic power walk!

​📱 Canine Social Media.
When your dog sniffs a lamp post, they use a specialized tool called the Jacobson’s organ to decode chemical messages. A single sniff tells them who was there, their age, gender, and even if they were feeling stressed or happy! It’s literally checking their newsfeed.

​🧘 Natural Decompression.
Studies show that the act of sniffing lowers a dog's heart rate and reduces stress hormones like cortisol. If you have an anxious, hyper, or reactive dog, a slow "Sniffari" walk is one of the quickest ways to help them decompress.
