The Fish Barn is a new venture ( Started Dec 2013 ) and supplies quality general Tropical fish including High quality sourced African Cichlids ( Malawi, Tanagnyikan and Victorian) and all mostly all wild caught South American species at very good prices! We now stock a very good range of dry goods available from fish foods through to fish tanks and accessories. We are able to take requests for fis

h and we'll try our best to bring you the fish that you want! We will NOT stock species of fish that grow too large for aquariums, for example Red Tail Catfish. We have a delivery service available to customers nationwide (UK) however we urge that customers come and view our stock to see and select the fish of your choice.

Just a quick update

The rest of our live food has just arrived, very early as well.
So customers that have pre orders these have been added to so you have all your order. For everyone else there is a great selection of live food available.

UPDATE

I have had confirmation that the rest of the live food will be with me tomorrow, they are still in Birmingham hub but will arrive tomorrow. As soon as it's here then I will let you know.

Well it's Friday again, another week whizzing by.
I have received the live food but unfortunately only 1 box arrived and it mainly contained Tubifex and bloodworm.
Everyone who has preorder food have been informed, for everyone else it will be what's left over.
Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.

ATTENTION PLEASE 🙋🏻‍♂️ Two hard to find species have just arrived at The Fish Barn!!

I’m very excited about these as we’ve been asked about them lots over a fair time span. The fish are Pterophyllum leopoldi, a seldom seen species of Angelfish which stays a bit smaller but makes up for it with their attitude.

The second species is, give this one a go yourself, Polypterus mokelembembe….. Ultimately, I have an adult one in the display tank at the shop and lots of people have asked about obtaining them. Well we now have 4 small (4”) in stock.

Not available until the weekend, prices likely uploaded tomorrow, so be quick, I can imagine these will sell quickly.

Some really special fish in at the moment, fully grown adult Snakehead Gudgeon. These are a rare fish and will need a large tank and large tank mates. They’re friendly by will consider anything they can fit in their mouths as food.

If you’re looking for something large, rare or specialist then these could be for you!
