**FINAL POST 🕊️🌈**

Thank you to each and every one that made GatwickHounds a success. We have met some wonderful dogs and their owners since losing our German Shepherd Artois summer 2024, leaving our Husky needing company on her daily adventures.

Stella was diagnosed with a nasty tumour in November which left her crate bound for 6 weeks in recovery after two extensive surgeries, but she came back with a bounce in her step in the New Year, full of love & life once again.

Our beloved Husky Stella was showing signs that there were many lumps returning within 5months after her surgeries. In March she went off her food, sadly seizures started which meant it was likely spreading, after a seizure on the 3rd April she was left being unable to walk properly or stand. On 03/04/25 we made the hardest decision to let our baby girl join our German Shepherd Artois over rainbow bridge, to be free of the pain and suffering.

We thank each and everyone of you for taking the time to book GatwickHounds for your dog walking/boarding and wish you all health, give your fur babies some kisses and cuddles.

We are very happy to have made lots of wagging tails over the last 6 months (Some photos of our wonderful canine friends we’ve made), we are thankful to each one of you for using Gatwick Hounds, Stella has enjoyed the company since saying goodbye to our boy Artois, she looks forward to seeing you all in the new year 🐾

GatwickHounds Husky, 12yr old Stella is making good progress in her recovery. After being housebound for 4weeks following a large surgery to have a nasty tumor removed and a full mammary strip, followed by a second op a few days later due to a complication, she’s finally a week closer to being able to be walked once again.

We hope that she will be out with the pack in the new year. But for now, she’s enjoying couch life, with all the snacks, belly scratches & hugs she wants. Our little fighter makes us so proud 🐾

🐾 The GatwickHounds team have updated the website. Now showing our availability til the end of Jan 2025. 🐾

🐾 Due to limitations of the WIX booking site, only one timing of 12pm on will now be showing, this means, we are able to give all our owners an opportunity to book in together for a fun filled winter group walk, we will walk your beloved dogs either in the morning or the afternoon subject to our rosters, but you can rest assured that they will be walked when we have a booking 🐾

🐾 We have availability Weekends, Weekdays, Bank Holidays, Christmas & New Years. We pride ourselves on not charging extra 🐾

This week has been busy for the Gatwick Hounds team. Introducing gorgeous Leonburgers into the pack alongside the Frenchie, German Shepherd and Staffie.

Theres been playtime at the ‘Tilgate puddle’ which has been great fun for three of the largest dogs getting thoroughly soaked and chasing the smaller ones with excitement.

Friday morning, after an early dog walk, the GatwickHounds team are heading up to Stourbridge to assess a suitable DogVan to hopefully bring back 🤞

The Team are still taking on new bookings, with the website soon to be updated with a new booking system to ensure that all dogs get the very best from a group walk for socialising, playtime and fun in the forest.

Second walk today, we started our day with four dogs walked together this morning, and collected this gorgeous Staffie for her walk that was booked this afternoon, taking her out over the back of Tilgate golf course.
