Lago Sorcerer is a beautifully bred 4 year-old gelding with impeccable bloodlines, from Plaza de Armas and Dehesa de Cabeza Rubia —a rare combination in the UK market. He’s an exciting young prospect for someone looking to produce a top-quality horse for MCI or British Dressage and also showing .
He boasts three quality paces:
A purposeful walk with correct overtrack
A straight, rhythmical trot that moves freely through his body
A balanced, uphill canter with active hind leg separation.
Lightly backed last year then turned away for the winter , been bought back into work end of March without any issues . He has trainable uncomplicated nature, hacks out in company and has met light traffic confidently, we have hacked him on his own but he can become a bit worried , but he’s very happy with company , will go in front or behind . We have also taken him out to his first arena hire at Sands Farm EC where he took it all in his stride, and he’s also been to a polework clinic which he really enjoyed .
Sorcerer has been with his current owner since 6 months old and is only looking for new home due to time constraints and a young family. He is easy to handle, good for the farrier, and up to date with vaccinations. He has had 2 very small sarcoids removed from his sheath earlier this year which have completely healed .
This is a special young horse with a bright future in the right hands. Due to his age and stage of training, he is best suited to a knowledgeable rider with experience producing young horses, no Novice or nervous riders please .
