From zero recall to safe off lead freedom in just 8 weeks 👏🐾

Bella joined us with no off switch, very little recall and enough excitement for ten dogs rolled into one.

Fast forward to today and she’s walking beautifully on a loose lead, recalling on the whistle around dogs and people, and calmly staying connected to her handler whilst enjoying off lead freedom ❤️

We’re incredibly proud of this gorgeous girl and all the hard work she’s put in.

OFF LEAD FREEDOM… but safely. 👏🏼🐾

Today was Arlo’s final day of residential training with us and we couldn’t be prouder of this happy, clever lad.

Arlo joined us to focus heavily on recall and engagement around distractions. Like many dogs, the environment was often more exciting than listening… especially around other dogs and people.

Fast forward to now and look at him go. 👌🏼

✔️ Neutrality around dogs & people
✔️ Handler engagement and check-ins
✔️ Solid down stay around a fitness class

One of the biggest things we teach our dogs is that freedom doesn’t mean chaos. Arlo’s learnt how to enjoy the world whilst staying tuned into his handler and making great choices.

He’s been an absolute pleasure to have in with us and we know his lovely family are going to enjoy all the hard work that’s been put in.

Well done Arlo… go enjoy your freedom buddy. ❤️

8 weeks. One very pretty golden retriever. A LOT of excitement. 🐾

Bella joined us with a gorgeous temperament but very little recall, no off switch and a habit of treating every distraction like the most important thing in the world.

Fast forward to today and she’s walking beautifully on a loose lead, calmly waiting while her lead is removed, recalling on the whistle around dogs and people, and enjoying safe off lead freedom whilst staying connected to her handler.

The transformation in this girl has been incredible and we’re so proud of her ❤️

Well done Bella — your lovely family are getting back one very clever dog.
