Our first batch of raw food - from Nature's Menu - was due to be with us this morning but there has been a problem with the van and they are now delivering it tomorrow (Weds 25th). Apologies for any inconvenience.

We will be bringing more raw food in in the coming days - we just need to walk before we run! We will also be looking at a variety of different brands etc - with Cotswold Raw, Dougies, Dogs Butcher, and others being considered - currently finalising the initial offering and should be up and running with them very soon. (Thanks for your patience!)

The Pets Pantry is now fully open at our new larger location at the far end of Littlemead Industrial Estate. The pet store is within the main Ignition Fires building and we are waiting some better signage - but we are already open so come on in - Mon-Sat 9am -5pm 🐶🐈🐦😍

We’ve been making really good progress and our new showroom (on the Littlemead Industrial Estate) will be open for business from 10am on Weds 18th June. 🤩

Thereafter we will be open Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm.

The whole thing has happened rather quickly and we are still in the process of stocking up. This will continue for the next few days and weeks – but we are now close enough to be able to open the doors to customers.

As you will see from the photos, we already have a really good selection and stock of 🐶dog and cat 🐈 and 🐦bird food– but we don’t currently have raw food in stock – this should be with us in the next few days and we will update the social media as soon as that arrives. We will be starting with Natures Menu and Cotswold – just as we did before the move. We are aware of requests for other lines and will definitely be having a proper look at these (and others) in due course – just as soon as we get our feet under the table 😁.

Our large order of bird food arrived yesterday, and so we will do what we can to get that bagged up and out on sale during the course of Wednesday.

We have plenty of treats – packets and loose. A good selection of toys and more are coming our way soon. Some new and exciting lines will start to be added as we slowly build stock and get the showroom space into better shape.

The next week or so will be a huge learning curve for us – so please bear with us while we work out where everything is now!

Please do come and take a look - see what we’ve been up to. We’re at the far end of Littlemead Industrial Estate – which is just down the Alfold Road – not far from the One Stop Shop. Drive right to the far end of the estate and we have parking out front. We don’t yet have any nice signs – but drive right down to the end and look out for the “Ignition Fires” building – that’s where we are.

I am sure everyone would like to know a bit more about the “new owners” and our plans for Pets Pantry.

We’re Kate and Giles Simpson, we live in Ewhurst with our two children and three dogs 🐶. We both have “day jobs” already – Giles runs Ignition Fires 🔥- the fireplace and stove business in Littlemead Industrial Estate - which is where the Pets Pantry showroom will also be based. And as many of you already know, Kate is a small animal vet 😍 based at the vets in Ewhurst. We’re both keeping our main jobs but looking forward to supporting the team as Pets Pantry starts this new chapter.

We’re very much hoping to bring along some of the old Pets Pantry gang as well – and maybe one or two fresh faces. We’ll bring you news on the team as things become clearer – there is lots to sort out and we only signed the papers last night!!

Right now we’re busy moving everything down to the new premises. It’s going to take us about a week to get everything set up and ready for customers. We’ll let you know about our progress (watch this space) – but we’re working hard to get open as soon as possible. We know those pets need feeding!

We’ll be open Mon-Sat 9am-5pm. The showroom is at the far end of the Littlemead Industrial Estate – on the Alfold Road, just down from the One Stop Shop. Plenty of parking right outside. The postcode is GU6 8ND. We’re working on some signs – for now look out for Ignition Fires!

It won’t be long until we can re-open properly – but if you're desperate for a pet food order then drop us a message or give us a ring.

One of the challenges of the old location was space – space to park, space for stock, space for a wider variety of product lines. At the new premises we have much more space and there is room for us to grow. We also have a full warehouse facility and delivery vehicles which will be shared with Ignition Fires – so local delivery will be on our own vans and by courier to further afield.

Also in the pipeline is a website to make things easier – that Pets Pantry has managed without one is a testament to how much Jeanette and the team have been valued – but many people want to go online as well so we will be creating a new website and this is already in development.

We’re really excited to set out on the journey and we look forward to seeing you very soon! 🐱🐶🐈🦜

We have some really exciting news! The business has been acquired and will be moving to new premises in Cranleigh very shortly.

So I’ve edited this old post, to prevent confusion….

It turned out not so bad in the end, and what looked like things coming to an end, instead just heralded the beginning of a new chapter!

The Pets Pantry Cranleigh is now open Monday to Saturday 9am-5pm in our new location at the far end of Littlemead Industrial Estate , just off the Alfold Road in Cranleigh.
