So a little bit about me for anyone new following, โญ๏ธ First of all A lot of people think oh youโre just a dog walker/ trainer ( itโs not for the faint hearted I tell ya!)โฆ I started working with Dogs in 1995, weekend work in the local Rescue and Boarding kennels, whilst attending college to study Animal care, after 3 years studying I then became full time for a few years before spreading my wings and moving down south to live and work in a Quarantine and Boarding kennels, ( and also helping look after the police dogs) I worked my way up to running and overseeing the Quarantine dogs and cats which at the time was full capacity and such an exciting experience, such lovely people to work for I always refer to my boss back then as my second mum and we still keep in touch. Iโll be forever grateful for her giving me the opportunity to learn so much from her business. After a few years I moved back down this way and I tried my hand at being the Dog warden. After a few months I realised it wasnโt really my bag as it wasnโt as exciting as it looked on the telly and seeked work in another local kennels helping run it.
In a nut shell Iโve always had a passion for all Animals. When growing up I wanted to be a crocodile handler, ๐๐ I soon realised there was not much call for that in England so Dogs it was and Iโve never looked back! ( although I would still love a croc but thatโs not likely to happen) Iโve since become a Certified Dog trainer, and Iโm always continuing to learn more. I have undertaken various courses from reactivity , body language, perfect puppy , nutrition and so on. I have two Dogs myself and one I am training up to be a therapy Dog, I clearly like a challenge!๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐ Myself and my very good friend who I met in 1997 ( at my first kennel job)
have attended most CPD and the training courses together have recently joined forces to bring the most awesome training classes to youโฆ. Watch this space.. if u havenโt fallen asleep reading this.. ๐
