No two horses recover the same way, so why should rehabilitation ever be treated as one-size-fits-all?

At Little Scotney Equine Rehabilitation & Livery, we believe successful rehabilitation comes from the combination of professional knowledge, consistent management, and genuine individual care.

Every horse is managed with a tailored approach designed around their specific needs, recovery stage, movement, and temperament, whether they’re returning from injury, recovering post-operatively, or requiring structured long-term support.

Led by Veterinary Physiotherapist Imogen Golding , our goal is simple:

To provide a calm, supportive environment where horses can recover properly, move comfortably, and build confidence again. 🐎

If you’re looking for thoughtful, physio-led rehabilitation or tailored livery in Kent, we’d love to hear from you.

A very warm welcome to Joker, our newest rehabilitation livery at Little Scotney 🤍

Joker arrived with us last week and has settled beautifully into life here already. He’s been incredibly relaxed during his box rest, enjoys plenty of scratches and attention, and has formed a lovely bond with his next-door neighbour and emotional support pony, Rhubarb 🐴

During the recent hot weather, the horses’ comfort and wellbeing have remained our top priority, with extra care taken throughout the day to keep everyone cool, settled, and happy.

We understand how much trust it takes to place a horse into rehabilitation livery, which is why we pride ourselves on providing a calm, attentive, and highly personalised level of care for every horse with us.

We now only have one rehabilitation livery space available. Please DM for further information. 📩

🐎 Meet the face behind Little Scotney Equine Rehab & Livery, Imogen Golding.

With a lifelong passion for horses and a professional background in Veterinary Physiotherapy, Imogen created Little Scotney Rehabilitation Livery to provide something she felt was missing in the industry: truly individualised, physio-led rehabilitation and livery care.

Based in the peaceful countryside of Lamberhurst, Kent, every horse here receives thoughtful 1:1 attention tailored to their specific needs, whether that’s rehabilitation following injury, post-operative recovery, strength and conditioning support, bespoke long-term management, or trusted holiday livery while owners are away.

As a qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist (IMSc Vet Phys) and RAMP registered practitioner, Imogen combines clinical knowledge with calm, consistent day-to-day care to support each horse’s wellbeing, movement, and performance.

Alongside Little Scotney, Imogen also runs Golding Veterinary Physiotherapy, providing Veterinary Physiotherapy services for horses and dogs across Kent and surrounding areas.

At Little Scotney, every rehabilitation programme is approached with patience, consistency, and genuine care, giving each horse the support they need to move comfortably, recover confidently, and thrive. 🐴
